Major Ripoff!!!! 8/17/2011

Bishop Plumbing charged an exorbitant $1900 to replace a hot water heater. They tried to pay for a favorable online review. The technician offered to ""help"" write the review. Upon reflection, the customer (my relative) felt the charges were too high and called Bishop to discuss. The customer wanted an itemized bill which was refused by Bishop. Even though Illinois Law requires any in home job over $1000 to have a written and itemized estimate . . .Bishop then offered a small (less than 5% credit) if the customer would sign a waiver to waive any rights to file a complaint with any outside agency (i.e. the Attorney General's office, or the village). This company is dishonest and intimidating. Don't do business with them. more
