The restaraunt is very one-dimensional (they claim to have great steaks), and they are not very adept at that one dimension (steaks are fair to good, but certainly not great). Order any of the non-steak items, and you travel a risky path. Seafood is decent, but not very good; pasta is OK; salads are OK. Overall, I can't understand how the restaraunt maintains its reputation over all of the years, especially with so many other great steakhouses in such close proximity (Sullivan's, Ruth Chris, etc.). If you want to spend the money on a great meal, go elsewhere. The Barn seems happy to take your money, while not fullfilling its part of the deal.
Pros: Close proximity
Cons: Price, Food, Service
