I ate here one weekend where I'd eaten at magnolia, and Papas grill. I had steaks at all three, and the angus barn was a distant third. Although it was the most expensive.
The steak was good, but there are about 3 places that jump to mind that have noticably better steak that are less expensive.
The atmosphere is fun, and it is a landmark place to eat in the triangle. The waitstaff are friendly, and always available, but very noticable.
If you are looking for a good meal, with very friendly chatty waiters, fun farm decor, and price is not a concern then this is a great place.
Pros: reputation, fun decor, relaxing atmosphere
Cons: overpriced, overly friendly waits
