Horrible customer service. All they tell you is that they have ordered the parts even though the ordered the parts almost three months before.

UNPROFESSIONAL, DISHONEST and FAULTY REPAIRS. AVOID!!!!!! 12/15/2010

This service company was assigned by kitchenaid to repair a faulty panel on my microwave. The rude service tech, came in several times, ended up breaking the vent, which has to be glued back on, and installed a new touch panel but broke one of the attachments on the inside of the panel. Instead of informing me or their company about it, he left. Over the course of time, the panel became loose. A new technician came over and told me one of the attachments broke during installation. The technician told me he would discuss it with his manager since he felt it should be repaired for free. Since it was more than 30 days since I called this in (it did not become apparent until later) they decided that they won't cover it and want to charge $ 380 for repairs for something their own technician broke. Unacceptable. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau. more

I PROMISE EVERYDAY I WILL WRITE THE SAME REVIEW SO THIS COMPANY Will GO OUT OF BUSINESS. THEY ARE RUDE!!!!!! FRIGHTENING! I WAITED 4 HOURS FOR THEM TO SHOW UP- THE MAN WALKED IN - SAID TWO WORDS- SAID HE NEEDED ANOTHER GUY AND REFUSED TO HELP FIX MY DRYER. HE SAID 'LET ME CALL MY COMPANY' TO RESCHEUDLE. HE WALKED OUT THE DOOR AND NEVER CAME BACK. WE CALLED THE OFFICE AND TRIED TO GET AN ANSWER- WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE A COUPLE DAYS BEFORE THE PAPER WORK WAS RELEASED TO REQUEST A 2ND REPAIR MAN. THEY DO NOT CARE!!!!!!!! THEY ARE PROVIDED WORK BY THE WARRANTY COMPANY AND THEY CAN ACT ANYWAY THEY WANT. REFUSE FOR YOUR WARRANTY COMPANY TO EVEN START WITH THEM!!!!!!! I'm now headed to the laundry mat with 5 days of Thanksgiving company laundry. They do not care about you and all their reviews that are positive are fake. Look at Yelp. Beware all the fake reviews from the company! Terrible! 11/19/2010

BEWARE THE FAKE REVIEWS ON THIS SITE! The company is posting fake reviews. Look at yelp! I had a terrible experience with both the technicians and the management at Active Appliance. My warranty company sent them out to fix my washing machine leak. The technician reported that he could not find anything wrong with the machine (the water all over my floor begs to differ) after doing a brief examination. Honestly! It sounds crazy, but true! I called the company and spoke with a manager letting them know that the issue was not resolved and even offered to send pictures or video of the problem still occurring. They refused to send out a technician again and told me to call the warranty company. The warranty company said they were in breach of contract and were required to send out a person again if the problem is unresolved. Again, Active Appliance refused to look at the evidence or send anybody back out. They then had the nerve to send me a bill since the warranty company refused to pay them for not rendering their contracted service. They want my money even though they did not fix the issue and stated that there was no issue? Huh?! more

This is the worst company ever. My home warranty company contracted them to investigate a faulty A/C unit in my home after my regular A/C maintenance company deemed that there was a problem.\r \r The technician arrived on Friday of a Labor Day weekend and all he did was listen to the condenser and open up the closet to my A/C unit before saying that everything looked okay.\r \r I tried to explain that my home was not cooling down no matter how long I ran the A/C and that a recent preventive maintenance service found there was a problem with the compressor and possibly the evaporation coils. He did not check either of them! Instead, he said my problem was that the freon was overcharged and that by releasing some of it, that should fix my problem. I told him that my A/C was working fine until recently and that my freon was last charged over 18 months ago!\r \r His answer to all my problems was that I should wait a few days to see if everything corrected itself due to his lame attempt and th more

SHAME ON YOU POSTING FAKE REVIEWS!!!!! They should get zero stars!!! Maybe they should get one star for replacing a part that didn’t need replacing for $400 dollars though and claiming the repair wasn’t under warranty... read on. FRAUDSTERS- Check the review history. They are using several "companies' to post positive reviews to cover up their true customer service. Check the dates- How is it that all the postings come from "Certified" and all 5's?????? If they aren’t from Certified they are all good comments/reviews posted on the same dates. DISHONEST- I called Kitchen Aid whom told me my icemaker was still under warranty and the manufacturer said they would dispatch this service company. The service company then called and said it wouldn’t be covered under warranty. Then they came and told us I needed to have my ice maker replaced.. when it worked and that wasn’t the reason I called. The tech told me that it needed to be replaced. So I asked him if I could have the $400 dollar part because it was broken. He said the manufacture wanted the part. I said- If it’s not covered by Kitchen Aid why do they need the part. So I firmly told him I wanted the part. He ran off with the part. I called customer service whom did a great job telling me that I authorized the work that the tech recommended. SHAME ON YOU FOR REPLACING PARTS THAT DONT NEED REPLACING.. AND THEN RUNNING AWAY WITH THE OLD PARTS!!! OF COURSE I AM GOING TO TRUST YOUR GUY WHEN HE COMES OUT.. THAT’S HIS JOB. IF HE SAID HE COULD FIX MY FRIDGE BY REPLACING THE WHOLE THING HE WOULD BE CORRECT TOO!!! JUST SIGN HERE AND PAY THE $50 DOLLARS AND $350 FOR THE PART. RUDE- A tech shouldn’t run out of my house with a part that I just purchased and customer service shouldn't tell me it’s my fault. I know they are doing their jobs.. but its the owners responsibility to make sure they are doing things ethically. I don’t mind paying for a $100 or $200 dollar service call, but if you going to make me pay for something that I don’t need.. that $##&ING CRAZY.
