When I first became a pet owner, I chose the most reputable animal clinic in our area to care for my two kitties - King's Mountain Animal Clinic, where I had heard wonderful things about Dr. Joseph May. The office staff was always very friendly, and I was able to schedule appointments within a couple of days of calling or even be worked in when needed. The waiting area is neat and offers a wide selection of pet food and accessories for sale. I was not impressed with the first doctor I met at this clinic (his name escapes me now) as he used non-medical terms like "guts" to describe something that was wrong with the cat I had adopted from our local SPCA. After that, I insisted on seeing Dr. May, who was much more professional. Although my cat had severe internal injuries from an accident before he was brought into the shelter, Dr. May was able to operate and repair a punctured lung - my kitty is good as new, even now, six years later.
