I Love Mammoth. The slopes are great and always well kept. The people are very friendly and lessons (good for first timers or children) are available almost all the time. The city of Mammoth Lakes is also a plus. It is very quiet and has plenty of places to stay close to the Lodges. Personally, I like Canyon Lodge over the Main and Juniper Springs because it is less crowded and closer to my favorite runs. Mammoth is kind of a drive, but it is worth the trip.
