Review content:
I'm new to the area and was looking for someplace not so cookie-cutter. I trusted the reviews on Citysearch and booked an appointment for a cut and color. I was pleasantly pleased to see such a cute little artsy shop and Simone offered to make me a sandwhich. She recommended a violet red and I went with it. She didn't cut off a lot of hair but she did a fabulous job of getting rid of some of the weight with the razor. I left the salon satisfied, but when I looked at the color, I hated it, but I attributed that to it just being different from my previous shade. A couple weeks later, I'm still not loving it; in fact, it's changed into almost a reddish-orange (24 shampoos til its completely gone.) The color is not complimentary to my skin tone; it completely washes me out. \r \r I will say that I did see her work on another client and that the transformation was amazing--both cut and color. I wish that I could say someone told me that I had amazing hair. Pros: Great artsy atmosphere, super customer service
