I took one of our wedding pictures there to be framed. But I didn't know the first thing about framing. The staff there helped me out by explaining exactly what I needed to know. Its a little pricey, but it was worth it. I'd go back anytime to get more of my pictures framed.

If your looking for technical work (like temping at Microsoft) Excell data is definitely a place to look into. they've had repeated job opportunities for me in the past, and keep looking until i tell them to stop. They've been more successful then other local firms such as volt. They have pretty good wages and service plans (such as health insurance and dental ect..) Although their paychecks only come every other week, instead of weekly, thats the only real con. They have mostly techie jobs too.. A pro for some, a con for others.

I had the experience of working with the women of Access Staff and found them to be extremly friendly, helpfull, non-judgemental and professional. I received personalized attention and they were really good about not just helping me find a job but also with interview tips and job preparation.
Their website is really nice too and has a joblisting thing where you can see the current positions that they are trying to fill.
Overall my experience was quite satisfactory and I would definatly recommend their services.

This is a little store front in Crossroads Mall across from Old Navy (it is easy to miss unless you know what you are looking for). They do awesome monogramming and have very cute and creative gifts for family members. We had a 'I'm a big sister' shirt made for our daughter to tell our family we were expecting #2 and got a lot of comments on the shirt--which I think says something since they should have been commenting on the pregnancy! I have also had blankets done for baby gifts, you can bring your own or use one of theirs. They have the really cute puppets if you are looking for something more reasonable and have those stitched with the childs name for about $16.

My family uses yuen lui photos for our family photos. They have various locations in the puget sound, but we usually go to the bellevue location, since it is the closest to our homes. They go a great job with family, HS senior photos, and childrens photography. We recently had our 1 month olds photos taken there, they turned out great. They occasionally have specials, so you should be on the look out for those. Their prices are high, but the photos are of good quality.

Bakkers dry cleaning has several locations in Seattle area. And they almost always have 50% off coupons in the Seattle Entertainment book. It pays to by a savy shopper

Kits Camera at Bellevue Square Mall has high end merchandise at a high end prices. The store is small and the selection not as good as Kenmore Camera. The salesperson that spoke with me was a little condescending and wanted to argue about an add I told him that their competitor had. Kits Camera is a good place for the novice photographer who wants to pay more than necessary.

This will be my second year working with A Masquerade for the murder mystery party that I host annually. I'm returning because the service and quality I and my guests received last year was phenomenal. For example, last year, I needed a slew of costumes for nearly 30 men and women in all shapes and sizes from the 1920s Flapper/Gangster era. Kyra and staff came through with flying colors. My guests and I lined up and tried on pretty much every 1920s outfit in the shop -- and all the while, the staff at A Masquerade kept patience and even got as excited as we were, helping us find just the right touches for our costumes.
Also, because I host the event, I often am in need of certain props. Last year, Kyra rented me some amazing giant peacock feather fans that adorned the walls of the "speakeasy" I was creating. They were stunning. This year, Kyra and I have already been in touch planning what other props I might need to pull off a party with a pirate theme.

For some reason though the idea of hiring a professional bartender to pour wine, mix drinks, welcome guests as they arrive and keep on eye on rambunctious revelers all the while dispensing valuable relationship advice (as all good bartenders do), falls into the camp of extravagance with gilded lilies and weekends in Paris.
Ask professional party planners about what can really sink an otherwise flawless party, though, and a chorus of voices will come back with the same answer, the absence of capable and professional bartender. Ask around Seattle for a recommendation and one comes up over and over again at Martini's Bartending Services. Martini¹s Bartending Services will provide you with professional bartenders, the bar themselves, glassware, stemware, wine and spirits (if your caterer is not handling this Martini's will even do the shopping), as well as that relationship advice. Costs vary, but a bartender serving a full bar for a four-hour party with 50 guests (glassware included) is about $15-$20 a person (not including tips).

Chris and I are like long lost brothers. I got a Mach 2 (ok I admit it I'm an old geezer), but I just counted 20 years ago. And I've been stuck on one since. I've actually gone to generic blades and razors from Bartell's (a great local chain by the way) and they work fine.
The other 3, then 4 then 5, well it just doesn't matter for a peach fuzz like me :-0
Now that you mention it, I like Bartells for just about everything. IMHO, the thing that makes the most difference is a decent shaving cream. Tried all kinds, but have finally settled on the nivea shaving cream in a squeeze tube. It packs well for business trips and doesn't smell bad.
