Belle pastry is my favorite place to stop by. Pasties and Cake here is excellent and not too sweet. Napolean cake is my fav one, it's crispy crust and creamy. if you are looking for dessert that not too sweet but tasty, Belle pastry is your answer.
I'm glad that they're just open another branch in Ballard. It's nearby my work. Great!

Inexpensive and made to order. Friendly but not fake people who like you not only for your business but remember you if you frequent there alot. You can walk up or drive up... I opt for the second one cause there is always a line when I go. They have kid friendly non caffiene specialities and always greet you with a smile. The best of the best.... sorry star*****. maybe a little less cost and more customer service is what everyone needs to brighten their day.

Not sure why, but the aroma a cinnamon is so intoxicating to me that I can not help but run to the Cinnabon to order one. If my family is with me, I try to convince them that the cinnamon is not as good as it smells. When they ask for a little bite, yeah a little bite, I tell them that sharing is not an option. Then after all the crying and I wipe my tears, I get the leftover piece that they somehow missed. On Cinnabon. The service and price doesn't really matter here. It's a Cinnabon!

This is a small little Asian bakery in the middle of Factoria mall. We decided to try their fruit medley and strawberry cake during one of our shopping trips and ended up ordering a whole cake for my daughter's birthday party.. It was a huge hit. Our guests commented on how light and tasty the cake was. We usually have to go to downtown Seattle for great Asian bakeries, so we were very happy to find one closer to home.

I could eat there everyday and not get tired of it. The thick sliced bread, fresh ingredients and fast friendly delivery are phenomenal. My favorite sandwich is the egg salad. Its rare to find a place that does really good egg salad. The meat loaf sandwich comes in a close second, with its bacon wrapped hardboiled egg. Mmmm I'm hungry already!
If breakfast is more your style skip the McDonald's and have a real heart attack on a plate! their breakfast sandwich has eggs, sausage, and cheese all on 2 toasted pieces of their famous bread.
If your not a fan of sandwiches they offer homemade pot pies, cheeseburgers, quiches, salads, fruit platters, and COOKIES!!!! Try the molasses cookies!
The only thing they're missing is coffee!

QFC carries yet another miricle in their bakery section. Ignore the address above because every QFC's bakery is the same, so don't all rush out to the one in Bellevue, you can get this anywhere. Shaped in a tin foil muffin wrapper, this infamous 'chocolate oblivion' is hand made for all of those chocolate lovers out there. But I must warn you this delectable creation is very chocolately rich!

My favorite east-side coffee spot. Located at the Safeway on Bellevue Way, these coffee shack is staffed by Jessica, a highly personable barrista who never forgets your name and favorite drink. When the espresso shots do not look right, Jessica dumps them out and draws you a new shot. The cost is much cheaper than Starbucks, and the attention to detail in making the coffee and flavor is far superior. All drinks are made from scratch, including their version of blended drinks such as the frozen mocha. Absolutely amazing java!!!

Tired of the fat lobs from Krispy Kreme? Longing for a plain ol' cake donut, but tired of the stale rocks from the grocery store bakery? Westernco makes donuts fresh daily--arrive early for best selection. They have cruellers, bars, sprinkles, coconut-topped, apple fritters, and more. Their hours can be kind of iffy--especially on weekends, don't look for them to be open past 11am, as families clean them out fast.
Cash only, but you'll be popular at work when you show up with that pink pastry box. They have a couple other locations in Puget Sound.

My office recently moved to downtown Bellevue and I've had a hard time paying city prices for lunch. I'm happy to report that Cafe Aura in my building (Symetra Financial Center on the corner of 108th and NE 8th) seems to be the place. They serve my kind of lunches-- sandwiches, salads and a grill made to order. They even have cookies baked daily which means they are still warm at lunch time . . .mmmm, I love a fresh cookie. Compared to other choices in the area, Cafe Aura's prices are fine. About $5 for a cold sandwich or salad and closer to $3 for a half sandwich. You can't beat that. I haven't ordered too many things from the grill, just a grilled tuna sandwich($5.50) and fries ($1.50 for a small). The sandwich was pretty much how I would make it at home, so I was happy. I'm pretty certain the fries were from the freezer--thicker than McD's, but not steak fries. If you work in downtown Bellevue and are looking for a daily lunch spot, I recommend Cafe Aura.
