Blain, the owner, has been cutting hair for years. His salon is an Aveda concept salon so he has all their products including makeup and essential oils. Back to the cuts. He never gives a bad cut. He knows exactly what will flatter your face and hair type and lets you know if something you want may not work and what a good alternative is. I have never had a hairstylist that I trusted to cut my hair without a pic, but I usually ask Blain for his opinion and let him go. Also, the shampoos are great. They massage your scalp and the back of your neck while they lather your hair and it is so great. \r The only cons are having to make appts. about 2 wks in advance, although if your schedule is more loose that makes it easier to get in sooner (he is quite in demand). Also, sometimes you have to wait 10 or 15 minutes to get into the chair while he finishes with a client, but he is well worth it and just know that he will take all the time with you that you need. Pros: great ambiance, friendly, couteous staff Cons: Usually no room for walkins. Sometimes running behind
