I can't see, but it's my problem. Yep, I'm crazy. That is what they will tell you at Through the Hayes. Their policies and practices are inconsistent at best. The owner is unprofesional and takes no responsibility for anything that happens in the store. They will not offer an apology or a refund, despite inconveniencing customers who generally get glasses because THEY NEED THEM TO SEE! \r \r If you are frustrated, the owner will not care to listen to why you are angry, will not offer to rectify the situation, will not provide you with a refund or a discount, or even offer free lens solution to try to make you happy. \r \r They will charge you for a ""contact lens fitting fee,"" but will be angry when you actually expect them to keep their end of the deal, which they say means they will provide you with sample pairs until you are satisfied. If you do actually use the service, they will blame you for using it and being a difficult customer.\r \r I have never been in a business who's top priority is not customer service. I have never seen a company that will not rectify a problem that it has created. Why have I not seen that before, maybe because with the glassed I got from them I can't see! \r \r My insurance is exhausted, so on top of paying everything I paid for my glasses and contact lens fitting with them, I will have to spend additional money getting new lenses elsewhere.\r \r Thanks, Through the Hayes!!! \r \r Oh yes, and if you are allergic to animals, keep in mind they have dogs running around, although they claim to be providing a ""medical service."" I've never been to a doctor that has dogs. Hmm.... Pros: Funky frames, weekend hours Cons: bad customer service, problems filling prescriptions
