Review content:
I went to Tsunami in Midvale with a bunch of my friends last week. I was really impressed by the clean and beautiful interior. It is such a pleasure to see that the moment we step into the restaurant, we are greeted with smiling and friendly faces. From the hostess to the server, everyone was so welcoming and had such a positive attitude. We had a great server who took her time to explain the menu to us in a very entertaining way and at the same time made us feel very relaxed and happy. We ordered a number of things including the Miso Marinated Black Cod, which was so fresh and delicious that it seemed like they just caught it right before they cooked it. We ordered the Seared Ahi salad to share along with other small plates like the fried spring rolls, both tasted excellent. The fried spring rolls didn?t seem very Japanese and more like Vietnamese or Thai?regardless they were some of the best fried spring rolls I?ve ever had. Next we ordered a bunch of sashimi. The yellow tail was firm and fresh. Yummy. We also ordered a lot of rolls like Montauk, TNT, Tokyo Cowboy, Sunshine and Aloha. They were all fabulous and I would highly recommend any of those! What I really liked about their rolls versus other places I?ve tried is the freshness and flavor; the rolls here are so much more creative than other places. Our total evening was great and we really enjoyed ourselves very much. The staff is attentive and the food is among the best. Our food bill was pretty pricey but then again we did order a bunch of food. We would definitely go back. Pros: Clean, Nice Decor, Great Food & Staff, Fresh Fish
