Review content:
My friends and I went to Nanoosh this past Saturday night at around 8:30pm. It wasn't too crowded, but still had enough people to suggest that it was good. The service was good and the food was prepared quickly, but ultimately we were all a bit underwhelemed. The plain hummus has a great, creamy consistency, but lacks flavor. We didn't taste any of the garlic or lemon that to me is the hallmark of a good hummus. Additionally, my lentil soup was hearty, but again, not very flavorful. I'm not the type who needs a lot of heat, but I like seasoning and the soup was definitely under-seasoned. Finally, the quinoa salad was quite good but I wish they would have included a few more dried cranberried and walnuts. It was an awful lot of quinoa and not a lot of the other ingredients. As I refer to dishes like these, it was a bit ""recessionary.""
Pros: If you have a healthy appetite, you won't go hungry
Cons: Food could use a little more flavor
