I have been going to Dr. Wikstrom for 12 years now and even though I may have to wait longer than I would like he is so congenial and understanding. I know that he gets backed up because some people come late and that pushes other appointment to be late and then sometimes patients want to poor out their heart to him and they take up too much time. I also go to a Psychotherapist and that is the person people should be going to see if they need talk therapy. Dr. Wikstrom is a Psychiatrist and prescribes drugs to manage whatever symptoms you are experiencing so people need to understand that a Psychiatrist doesn't typically do talk therapy. I don't like the woman who greets you as you come in. She's terse and blunt and has no regard for your privacy. She needs to go or put her in a position where she is not in contact with the public. I'm still going to give 5 stars because everyone else in the office is very nice. Dr. Wikstrom needs to get rid of the mean old battle ax and put someone at the front desk who is friendly and compassionate.
