Businiess name:  Second Street Restaurant

Wow!!! This place is way cool. I was here several years ago and the motif was more like a ""locals"" Ruby Tuesdays. When I walked in I knew that something special was waiting for me. The restaurant is owned by the same two brothers and they seemingly re-worked the restaurant and bumped it up a notch or two. They have an outdoor dining area that has a fire pit and fish pond that adds to the overall feel. What I liked the best is that the place looked ""City clean and vibrant"" while being extremely casual. My Dad had Meatloaf that was fantastic and presented really upscale. My brother had a turkey Panini. My Mom had a Grilled Salmon Salad (Salmon cooked perfect--just a smig under cooked--the way she likes it). I was living large that night and had the NY Strip---Wow-- I have never had a better steak anywhere, let alone a steak house. The wait staff was extremely friendly and wore starched white shirts with blue jeans and a bistro apron. That seemed to capture the casual/elegant look that I mentioned before. The only problem with our visit was that we found Second Street the last day of our trip. My recommendation would be---hit this restaurant first.
