First things first, the laab gai was out of this world. I also like the Pad woon sen . Our friend said that the three-flavored fish is also very good here. (We didn't try it but we'll try that next time).
Ah and yes. I need to mention that they have excellent thai ice tea! We even tried to ordering a different version that you can get in thailand which is thai tea minus the cream plus lime juice (called Cha Manow in Thai). It just makes me miss home.
During our dinner, the owner came and greet us. He recommended that we topped our evening off with green tea ice cream. We were glad we did.
Needless to say, we be back again!
Pros: Delicious food and great service,
Cons: Too far from home

While driving down Commerce on a rainy Saturday afternoon my husband and I noticed this long winding line of people who didn't seem to mind waiting, to get in the Twisted Root Burger Co. and seeing this I immediately wanted to eat there so we parked and the long line quickly dwindled. I don't hold the parking against them since their job is to make premium burgers not to provide premium parking for me to enjoy while I dine there. We sat at the same table with people that had two extra chairs on the end because it was very crowded and you sit where you can. This didn't bother us one bit we enjoyed each other as if it were just us two. If you are with people you enjoy you create your own ambience. People don't line up in the rain to get average food and poor service. This was the BEST burger I've ever eaten. Turkey topped with chipotle, guacamole and cheddar. Moist, tasty and delish! My husband had the Mushroom Swiss he loved it and got a big kick out of being called Darth Vader as he picked up our order. The sweet potato fries were crispy and tasty . It was so good that I wanted it again for dinner! We loved the condiments and the staff was down right giddy they were so friendly. The place is filled with great reviews in the hallway so I'm not so sure where the people with the negative reviews were eating. The long line did it for me. I'm so glad we stopped.
Pros: Great food & service with a smile
Cons: None!!

One of the top meals in Dallas. For an appetizer we had the Crab Cake and the Steak Tartar. Both were fantastic and are highly recommended. Next we had the Old Warsaw Salad and Greek salad. Very light salad that is a must for Feta cheese lovers and for anyone interested in venturing outside the realm of lettuce. On special that night was a Foie Gra. Again, fabulous. Finally, for the main course we had quail with Sautéed Mushrooms and Muscat Wine. We shared the Scottish Salmon which was served with crawfish, mushrooms and capers, sitting atop rice and green beans. As Steve would say, the quail was "divine" and it was definitely my favorite dish of the night. Overall, Old Warsaw serves up food beyond your expectations, which is exactly what you expect from a top-notch Uptown Dallas restaurant. Will definitely return to share this place with friends and family and try more of the items on the menu.

More
Bangkok City is by far my favorite place for Thai food. They offer the typical pad thai and a variety of Thai curries, as well as a wide range of other noodle and rice dishes. The typical entree comes with veggies and a choice of meats or tofu. Big boon for vegetarians: almost any dish can be made veggie, and they way the tofu here is prepared is excellent; it's not too soft and has a very slightly crisp, meaty texture to it.
Desserts include fried ice cream and the delectable fried bananas. Purple flowers on many dishes offer a nice decorative touch.
Oh, and be sure to try their Thai tea while you're there!
The dining space is large but cozy at the same time, thanks to wood-panelled walls, a large TV screen, and a variety of "ethnic" decorations to feast your eyes upon. Service is fast and friendly, and prices are about average for similar restaurants in the area, around $8 per entree (though typically served family style so you won't need a dish for each person).
The main downside, at least for fans of spicy Thai cuisine, is that their food is just not spicy enough! Even if you ask for your order to be the spiciest available, it's typically not even as intense as a bag of Flamin' Hot Cheetos. Still, very tasty and highly recommended; very convenient to the SMU campus!

When I first came in ( see my review back last year) They gave me a vip card. The vip card gives you 50% off the second entree. I came back several times to this thai restaurant and each time the basil flat noodle dish has consistently been the best. Keep in mind that they will change it to spicy or not , extra veggies, no veggies etc... They are very accommodating to your taste. Give them a try, ask for a vip card and tell them Wendy sent you.
Pros: Great service, food and location
Cons: none

My boyfriend and I dined here to celebrate his birthday last evening. I chose this place after reading many reviews of other similarly priced "it" steakhouses in our area. We were not disappointed with this choice. Other than the rude, unwelcoming hostess, about whom I can only assume was having a bad night prior to our arrival, the experience was phenomenal - the crab cake and slaw were a perfect beginning, the steak was juicy and well-cooked, the tuna was rare and fresh, the mashed potatoes and green beans were simply "done right," and the creme brulee our fabulous waiter brought us as a special birthday treat was a great way to end the night. The ambiance was wonderful - we never felt rushed and simply relaxed - and the other patrons in the restaurant obviously had similar experiences as many were there before we arrived and were still there dining and drinking as we left. This is a great, romantic place for special evening.
Pros: Knowledgeable Waitstaff, Fresh Meat, Wonderful Atmosphere
Cons: The hostess was incredibly rude - she was the only "con."
