We bought a new Honda CR-V EX-L from Rusty Wallis Honda on Oct. 31, 2008. It was our first Honda, and we had a great experience. During the entire process, we never felt any pressure and were able to discuss and make our own decisions. We dreaded the financial part of the deal because in the past, dealerships have pressured us to buy the extended warranty and other items they had for sale and didn't want to accept no for an answer. It was the most painless experience we have had buying a new vehicle in many years. We were very impressed with the organization and knowledge of the people at Rusty Wallis Honda. We will do business with them again and recommend them to others.

The boys are loving my Pilot. My buying experience was wonderful.
I came in wanting to just think about a new car and did not want to be pressured. You were most helpful in answering my questions, giving me the information I needed and helping me without making me feel like I was being forced or coerced. You let me ask all the questions, voice my concerns and made the experience stress free. I know I was very apprehensive at first, since this was the first time I had every tried to purchase a car on my own. You made me feel very comfortable and safe and very patient, while I tried to digest all of the options.
I am very happy and satisfied that I made the right decision and will be a John Eagle customer without hesitation. Thanks again for working with me and may God richly bless you in all your endeavors. (Kathy - Irving, Texas)
Pros: You were most helpful in answering my questions
Cons: You made me feel very comfortable and safe

I was very impressed with this family owned operation. The process of getting my car was so easy and the sales staff was so helpful!! I was really impressed with the selection and knowledge of the staff. I am a woman and a little aprehensive when i go to dealerships of getting taken advantage of. I went home and looked at some same car comparisions on internet websites and the price they got me was substantially less than elsewhere.

I went in with my husband looking for a car...with not the best credit. We worked with Tony who was understanding, respectful and made us feel like he was working for us...how nice. We found and bought the car we wanted and had no issue's. We'd go back again for sure.

This dealer is good in appearance: the lot is fairly sizeable with lots of cars, as does the showroom. But the sales staff is not particularly nice to consumers looking to buy a Toyota. You may be treated just a bit condescendingly, and you may get overly steamrolled to buy any car in stock, and they may press you to add on extra features and options. Just be firm with what you know you need. Overall, the dealership is good because of the availability of cars.

Their have good service, but relatively small shop. Located in the downtown Richardson, the shop and the dealer are together. Their office hour is from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
The only problem is they don't work over weekend, which makes a lot of troubles for me

More
Well, hmmmm. Having just read the review written by a disgruntled tightwad of sorts against University Park Audi and Chuck Austein, I felt compelled to share a more favorable and accurate review. I have known Chuck Austein on a personal level now for more than 20 years, back in the days when he sold Porche's on LBJ Freeway. Aside from the fact that we are friends, I know him on a professional level and have purchased more than 10 cars from him at multiple dealerships along the way, spanning a 22-year period of time that I have known the man. I have known him to be NOTHING other than kind, professional, respectful, and accommodating in his approach to selling cars, and his personal character is of the highest quality. Simply put, Chuck possesses the highest moral fiber and boasts more than his share of integrity in a field that otherwise has a reputation in the public's eye as being "sleazy". He has always gone out of his way to make my interactions with the purchase of a car, whether directly through him or his employees, a more than pleasureable experience. I would not buy a car from anyone else, anytime and I would trust him implicitly with any one of my four children !!! Does this sound like the same man as described by the previous writer? He clearly is a hot-head who has a skewed version of the truth .... you know the type - never happy with anything anyway. In any event, Chuck Austein and University Audi have my utmost respect and sell cars honestly and openly. They are wrongly being held hostage by the inaccurate and misguided posting which couldn't be further from the truth, and I had to offer my this rebuttal. I am hoping that everyone who reads this will at LEAST take pause to consider a more accurate truth from a person who has a long-standing relationship. I would suggest that the disgruntled hot-head had nothing better to do on that day. Kate in Allen.
Pros: Only good things to say!

All was good until the sales manager was brought into the picture. We were actually looking to purchase a car with the TX AirCheck voucher. The salesman hadn’t seen it before so he asked if he could take our voucher to show his manager, as his manager would know what to do with it (which he didn’t because he wanted to get our car appraised even though our letter said how much the dealership would get for the car). I had a feeling once they had our papers, they would keep them for a while. Sure enough that was the case. We started negotiating for a price, but there was no negotiating to be found. He wanted to sell it for us at sticker price; we were not willing to buy it at that price. He asks what we wanted, we told him, but I guess he decided not to listen and told us we needed to give him a price until he could do anything else. We repeated what we said and he said he couldn’t do that; so, we said we would leave then. I kindly asked for our voucher back and he kept yapping and would not let us leave. I asked again and he kept yapping. I was sick and tired of his nonsense and asked again only to be yelled at this time. He told me I needed to give him some courtesy and listen to him as he did with us and if we weren’t going to listen to him, we weren’t getting our papers back. Frustrated and wanting to leave ASAP, we let him yap again and we told him we couldn’t afford what he wanted and that we were going to leave. He said fine and threw our papers on the table. Rude much? He also wrote “void” on our AirCheck letter…why? I have no idea. Did he think we didn’t know how to read and the rules of the voucher? And this doesn’t even include the racist remark he made and the belittling done while he was talking to his salesman. Be glad I don’t stoop down to your level, Charles Williams, who yourself is a minority.
For those that wish to buy a Toyota, I suggest you avoid Sporty City Toyota as people continue to give nothing but poor reviews.
Pros: Salesman was nice
Cons: Everything else
