BUYER BEWARE I am a former returning customer of 3 years and have been returning here to get the tires replaced on all 3 of my family's cars. Each past visit had been smooth and quick and I was extremely satisfied with the service....And then came my latest tire change there. I have a 2008 Honda Civic Limited Edition. It has everything as good as it gets for civics of that year..especially the rims. So, I come and order the best tires they have for my model and year vehicle, and am told that their firestones were the best for my model. I purchase these tires and have them installed. The next day I wake up to go to work and low air pressure signal is on. OK, no biggie, this happens; I'll head over there after work and they will take care of it I told myself. FOUR subsequent visits later that same week due to the SAME tire failing to perform they STILL REFUSE TO REPLACE IT!!! No, it is all my fault. Maybe I hit a pothole? ""We will reset your sensor"". Ok, next day; ""It is your pressure sensor, again; we replaced it and there will be no more problems"". Next day ""Your valve stems were not replaced due to error on our part, it is fixed now"". Next day ""Your rim is getting worn out and we will put a rubber seal in between it and the tire, this is a common problem when rims get older and get worn"". (for a mint 2008 with 15"" alloy rims? YEAH RIGHT. Next day I let my spouse drive it to the grocery store (after pumping up the tire yet again), and upon her return i determine to pay yet another visit to finally get this obviously defective tire replaced. A new customer service rep comes out after a few minutes and tells me ""We have noticed some marks similar to minor curb rash on the side of the tire and we just find it ironic that you have brought us a tire to replace that is obviously damaged by your own incompetence"". I almost lost it then and there. LAST time I ever go there. I will drive a bit further to West Springfield and maybe pay a bit more but I am never returning there again. No amount of arguing would convince the rep otherwise; as far as he was concerned I was yet another clown customer to get rid of. I bring my car home and take it to Honda the next day to have them replace it. They inform me that all five of my lugs on the problem tire are stripped and the stock Honda nuts are gone and replaced with aftermarket ones that are a different thread. It ran me about $80 for the new parts plus a whole Saturday to replace them. According to the techs at Honda this was obviously intentional on their part.
