My experience with United is one of negligence & and it seems they have an affinity for drugging people and slamming them in psych wards.. My mother was seen there in 2010 for dehydration. It took them 4 days to figure out she was dehydrated, and it took myself & her two other daughters fighting for her to keep staff from putting her in the mental health unit. My husband was just detained against his will for 110 hours, 5 days, with no one on the 'outside', not a single family member, being made aware of the situation.. Stay away and beware. Three weeks after his release, I'm still trying to get information regarding his 'stay' and no one will talk to me. We've had to file complaints with the MN Medical Practice Board & consult a lawyer.
