I went back to martha's to return two beer bottles I had pruchased a couple of weeks earlier. I had them in a plastic bag. The clerk said they do not accept bottles in plastic bags only in paper bags. I asked if I could hand him the bottles. He said no. I then asked if I could have a paper bag. He said no. I left the store, went to another store 5 miles away to make the purchace I would have made at Martha's. I asked for a paper bag. I went back to Martha's with my two bottles in the newly obtained paper bag. The clerk took the bottles out of the bag and asked if I wanted my bag back. I think this was a different clerk. Needless to say, Martha's lost a sale and a customer. Not that they care.
