They keep spamming my work account...I have NO idea how they got it, I don't even give out that address for anything. I can only assume they're using a dictionary attack, or they bought enough e-mail lists that one of them had my work address. Either way, I wouldn't eat there now if you paid me!

While their pizza was OK, I will be ordering from Papa John's from now on, since they made autodialed robo-calls to my home AND my cell, the latter of which is illegal. Even with an established business relationship, they are required to get you to affirmatively opt in to use autodialed recorded messages when calling cell phones. Besides the law, it's common sense to let people opt-in.
They had some OK specialty pizzas, but nothing I'll miss. Giuseppi's in Rockville is SO much better, anyway, it's worth the trip to pick it up.

Very no-frills, but fantastic food in plastic baskets. Very family-friendly and fun. There's a video game room in the back, but I've never used it.

Belletini chocolates and other creations taste and look like they are made with great craftsmanship. You can watch them at work through a large window into the kitchen, and they sometimes give a tiny chocolate frog that is almost too cute to eat to small children...with their parents' permission, of course! I was very pleased to see this addition to the Olney Town Center.

If you're not from the Olney area, this might not be quite as interesting, but I'd like to think it would still be somewhat intriguing. But the real fun comes from learning about the places you see every day, and the names you hear and speak and read on street signs in your own neighborhood. The Sandy Spring Museum is also known for its Strawberry Festival usually held every June.

The Montgomery County Airpark is open to the public, even the earthbound non-aviators. You can stand and watch the planes, or go sit on the patio at the Airpark Cafรฉ. It's a fun way to spend an hour or two, especially if you bring a book...let's face it, staring at the runway without interruption for that long would be a little tedious. But it's more of an entertaining backdrop, the way you would watch people at a sidewalk cafรฉ. Of course, if you really like aviation, visiting the airpark will be much more engaging, but even if you don't, it's still a nice way to spend an hour or two.

If you're reading this, you're probably a parent, so you've probably already gone "Aha!" But if not, this is the PERFECT place to take your child when their fever spikes in the middle of the night and the medicine isn't helping, and they're miserable and can't tell you what hurts. Or those weekends when the doctor on call tells you if it gets worse to take them to the emergency room, and you're worried that you should be bringing them, but you're also worried that it will be just a bad flu and you'll be at the hospital for 12 hours or more.
There are sometimes long waits at Nighttime Pediatrics, which is why I can't call them "perfect". But realistically, they are as good as they can be. They usually have quite a few doctors working, and they seem to move through patients much faster than emergency rooms 2 or 3 times their size. Also, the two pediatricians we've seen there were terrific.

I really like the Olney Ale House. It's another Olney restaurant in an old converted house, but the seating is still fairly well arranged. The food is a good eclectic mix, with excellent burgers, homemade bread, and a house tahini salad dressing that I can't pass up. They also serve vegetarian burritos, steak, and fried catfish, if I remember correctly. Everything I've had there has been from very satisfying to great.
My only problem is that they're stopping some of their weeknight promotions. That's their right, but a few restaurants in Olney have made weeknight promotions a fixture for years, and it's very disappointing that the Olney Ale House is ending theirs.
It's right across from the Olney Theatre Center for the Arts, so watch out for the pre-theater crowd.

This little toy store is a welcome contrast to most chain toy stores, especially the big box stores. It's much quieter, mostly because of its small size. Kids might still run around, but there is no cavernous ceiling and warehouse-style shelving to bounce the sound around, and the store is [gasp!] carpeted.
I thought they had a nice selection of toys that were for the most part fun and educational. They tended towards Thomas the Tank Engine and some Sesame Street toys rather than Spongebob Squarepants or Yu-Gi-Oh, which I found refreshing.

This beer and wine store really got a makeover recently. They went from being just a retailer to something of a wine bar, and they have an even better selection than before. The prices could be better, but if you're looking for something out of the ordinary, and you're around Olney, this place is very handy to have nearby.
