If you have not taken the time to visit WinCo, then you are missing a huge opportunity to save some money. WinCo is not a membership supermarket, like many people think. It is simply a self-serve market where you bag your own groceries and have to shop large aisles with some food still in the packing boxes. While they are known for the bulk food section, I am impressed with the variety of choices throughout the whole market. The prices cannot be beat even at Costco, trust me I have checked.
The bakery makes excellent cakes, muffins and donuts. The produce department offers a great selection of high quality produce and of course the bulk food selection has them all beat. Reserve some time, as the shopping process there is never a quick one, but you will certainly find your grocery bill drop from 30-50% depending on where you currently shop.
