My husband and I moved to Cookeville three years ago. Since arriving here I had not had one decent hair cut. I went to several stylists in town and had pretty much given up until I searched on the internet and found Breon. Let me just tell you that Linda gave me the absolute best hair cut I have ever had in my life. I am not over exaggerating! I wanted to leave the salon and have my picture taken. My hair has never looked so good. And to top it off, I was able to style it the exact same way Linda did after I washed my hair. That has never happened! The staff at Breon is wonderful and I couldn't have had a better experience. Believe the hype-this place is the real deal. My hair looks so good, I don't mind the hour drive. Happiness!

I went into village bridal on the recommendation of a friend of a friend. My mother, MOH, Event planner were with me. We had no appointment. Nor had we called. Elizabeth was waiting on another bride, but said she would be right with us. I looked at dresses just knowing I would see the perfect dress and I did right away... Elizabeth and I talked about the wedding, our style and what I wanted... she set the "perfect" dress aside and we continued to look. I narrowed my search to 10 dresses. Waiting for the perfect dress to try on last. To my surprise, the perfect dress was "passe, too fru fru and very heavy"... elizabeth was not surprised as she realized I had a stomach I wasn't happy with.. she gently steered me to what was the perfect dress.. of course for a 47 yr. in the middle of a hot flash anything short of a iced down mini dress would not do!... She found me a beautiful light (in weight), unique in color, hey I am more mature... appropriate and beautiful dress. The dress covered my "tummy concern" and with she and Irene (the tailor)'s eye and sewing skills concealed it even more. I did not want strapless and she completely redid the top into a very original design perfect for me. She explained all the altering fees in advance so I was not surprised. I did two final fittings in one day which was perfect for me since I live 1.5 hours away... I would recommend village highly..I would also suggest making an appointment when Elizabeth will be there and isn't already scheduled. Also, she is direct with her customers.. I wanted honesty not a lie in order to sell a dress. If you don't look good.. she will try her best to steer you to another style or offer alteration suggestions. For me this was one of her best assets...

Well let me preface this by saying, I am NOT one to write reviews. However, I only thought it fair to express my opinion as so many others have done. After reading the reviews about this boutique I went in for the first time two weeks ago, aphrehensivley I might add. All the negative comments made me have a negative attitude towards the store from the get-go. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. I walked over to the jeans section and proceeded to look around. A sales associate immediatley came over to me and asked if she could help with anything or if I was looking for specific jeans. She also pointed out all their brands and where I could find the petite sizes. Needless to say I was impressed thus far, especially after reading all the negativity. I tried on a few pairs of jeans, and was asked "how things were going" by the associate who also said "let me know if you need different sizes". I say GO TO THE STORE and make you own judgement. Its a really fun store with lots of pretty clothing and jeans. I will be returning to this store in the near future because honestley they have FAB stuff....albeit expensive; but it is after all bouique bella, what do you expect? Uniqueness has a price. Ciao for now.

I moved here from Chicago to attend Vandy. Since I've lived here, Posh has outshined all other boutiques in Nashville! There is not another store/boutique in town (that I've found) that carries the variety of clothing/shoes nor the eclectic designers that they do. And in terms of price, it is what it is. If you're at a boutique, the price point is going to be higher. Hello!!! It kills me how people complain about the price at an upscale boutique. And lastly, I've had excellent customer service overall. The staff changes a lot - but for the most part, they will go out of their way to help you.

There are gifts for all price ranges, and April makes a great effort not to repeat gifts! Also the furniture will carry you far beyond the nursery -- in fact, you don't even need a baby to consider the design options! Gingham offers Southern charm with big city style. Fortunately, April has expanded and opened a "tween" store named Moxie. This has been a great opportunity to continue to shop with her despite growing children. Moxie has just as many unique clothing options for boys and girls. We are fortunate to have these stores located in Nashville.

If you are looking for choices Cotton Mill is the place to go. They have the best selection of clothes that I seen in nashville. I was looking for a dress but not only find the perfect one(on sale) but a great pair of jeans too.
They have recently expanded their store and added more formal wear. I buy casual clothes but if I need a long dress they have a lot to choose from
The girls that work there were friendly and helpful and let me shop but were there when I need a dressing room. They made several trips to help me find the right size and seemed to enjoy helping me.
This is my first stop from now on.
Pros: Great selection and Great service

I absolutely love this store! The selection, quality, and customer service are exemplatory. I initially went to the store to find a top that matched a specific pair of pants...not only did I find a trendy, ultra-cute top thanks to the sales associate, I found other really unique reasonably-priced items that I cannot find anywhere else in Nashville! The beautiful clothes go hand in hand with their incredible staff. Come stop by My Friends Place - I'm sure you will be impressed!!!
