I am biased towards Carkeek because it is close to my house, but also because it's one of the few where you can see salmon in the late fall if it's a good season. There have been large efforts made to restore the park so that the salmon return. Every year is different, so don't be disappointed if you go one year and they're sparse. 2004 was pretty thin, but 2003 was a good year. It's amazing to see these fish come back to a city park. Kids will love it as much as adults.
