The Main Event is on Kirkwood Highway, just after the over pass near Friendly's. It's a wonderful little hair salon with friendly people and a great atmosphere. Deborah is the women who cuts my hair and she does an amazing job for a reasonable price. She's the first hair stylist I've ever had who actually listens to what the customers want!

I stopped in here yesterday with a friend since she and I are BOTH looking for wedding dresses & we dealt with the RUDEST women ever (probably the owner of the store). She was very arrogant with us & had an attitude. She obviously knows she's one of the only bridal places in town & doesn't try to go out of her way to help her customers at all. Instead of making us feel special & excited about bridal gown shopping, she made us feel insignificant & like we were wasting her time. I will NEVER go back there let alone by anything from this place. Go to Brides & Grooms in Newark instead-at least they care about their clients & treat them with respect.

This place is great-you can get 14 oz. burritos for about $5 and the quality of food is great and authentic. The burritos are great if you're on the run (they have a station to make them at lunch) or if you want to sit down for a nice meal. Their breakfast burrito w/ham, egg, cheese and potatoes is amazing and it's a little over $3! For a meal, their one meal (might be called "pollo bajo??") of a cooked chicken breast with a soffrito & cooked egg is out of this world. Great place with authentic food and low prices. Definitely a better deal than La Tolteca.

While the food here is worth experiencing (especially the homemade gelato-ask for samples!), the wait staff leaves something to be desired. On numerous occasions, the food has been cold or has obviously been sitting under a warmer for some time by the time I have received it and the staff at the gelato counter has been rude.

This is a juice bar/healthy sandwich shop that isn't too hot. The sandwiches are very small, over priced and not that great. I had their "organic" egg salad that wasn't great & came with stale chips. The smoothies are too exotic to work and were served warm rather than chilled. Not worth the money that orders cost here.
