This a wonderful place to take the whole family. At first you walk up the stairs an encounter a huge wooly mammoth fossil. It is extraordinary. You also learn about how South Texas was first inhabited. It is a chronological journey to how South Texas came about. There are also mini movies about early trade that was done from the Rio Grande River. It is an educational experience that is fun for everyone.
