As a former bartender of Hollywood n Highland, I have always considered The Room the best bar there is. And now that they have finished renovations, I'll surely be taking all my friends there. It's a place that the tourists don't know about, the trendy snobs won't hang out at, and the bartenders know their stuff. It's a dimly lit, no cover, place for any occasion. The music is always great for Hip Hop and the DJ's actually know how to mix, unlke some other phony places that overcharge. Right at Hollywood n Cahuenga, you can bar hop within feet of another bar, and never have to pay a cover. I'm glad the Room is still standing, it'll always be the Heart of Hollywood.
