My husband and I went to Au Bon Appetit for Valentines day this year, and the service was excellent. We were a little dissapointed with the limited holiday menu. My husband loves a good filet mignon, and there was no red meat on the menu (except for the duck). The duck was well prepared and had a delicious pan sauce on it. My husbands roasted chicken was very ordinary, and we felt that at $18 a plate it should have been much more than ordinary. The melon and prociutto salad and fried oysters were very good. The star of the night was the chocolate molten cake. I have NEVER eaten such a delicious chocolate confection in my life!!
