Guitar Center has done a great job of servicing the fickle musician marketplace with a large chain of corporate stores. Their prices are great and, for the most part, their staff is up to speed. You'll always find more interesting items at independent stores, but if you know what you want and you want a great price head to Guitar Center. I particularly recommend this location. Saw one of the guys from The Strokes there a couple of months ago.
