Everything they do at Ken's is superlative. Their breads are crusty yet tender inside. Their lunch offerings are yummy to the last crumb. And their pastries and desserts are delicious without completely overwhelming your adrenal glands. The atmosphere is communal, bright, and airy. Good coffee, wine offerings, a nice tea selection, and aranciata (etc.) round out your meal. Sometimes I wish the staff were a bit more friendly, which would make this the best home away from home, but they don't slack off or anything. We haven't been yet, but I have heard good things about the pizza night there, too. They use their super hot ovens to make the very freshest pizzas. I really don't see any downside to this place except for the competition for parking in busy NW.
