second oppinion 6/2/2010

I was a new patient there about a month ago and everything about the office was beautiful. Dr. Backiels staff was great. The only thing I could suggest Is for her to go back to school and stop drinking. I could smell her breath through her mask and she looked drunk! Her and her assistant who was obnoxious were talking about going out after work and rushed me right out of the chair to someone else! I will not be returning! more

Make sure to check your statemnts 11/9/2009

Had a very bad experience with the office manager Fabien. I paid cash and even though they have a paperless system he was unable to give me a receipt and said that he would have to mail it. I never received it and when I got a bill in the mail I called the office and there was no record of my payment and he refused to speak to me or return my calls. Also, dentist seems to care more about her personal life than dentistry! more

Dental Insurance Claim Never Filed 7/6/2007

My dental cleaning experience was just okay, but the incompetent office manager made my experience horrible. I visited the office twice in May and both claims have yet to be filed with my insurance company. I have called Dr. Backiel's office at least four times complaining that my claims have not been received by my insurance company. I keep getting the "it takes two months" for claims to be processed. This is bullshit!!!! Now my flex benefits debit card has been deactivated because I do not have the proper explanation of benefits from my insurance company. The office manager Becky is worthless. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTAL OFFICE. BEWARE!!! more

very good dentist 3/28/2006

Very nice office staff, with quick service and easy to get appointments. Mondays are for ‘special cases’ and I’m not sure what those are, but I’ve never gotten a Monday appointment. Office is conveniently located. The only annoyance is the constant, girly, unprofessional office banter. I don’t like people talking about their weekend dates while they have sharp tools in my mouth. more
