I don't see how anyone could not like First Avenue. They have the best setup in the cities, the bands are consistently good, and you can even hang out and meet the band after the show, it's good fun. I have not been disappointed by First Avenue yet.

A amazing venue in Minneapolis!
Club 3 degrees is an awesome night club now located in Downtown Minneapolis. It has existed as the New Union night club previously for a long time and is now Club 3 degrees because this is their 3rd andbest locationso far!
It is adult, teen, and occasionally kid friendly. The music is all styles and all christian. Their lounge is decked out with pool tables, a dj and a bar-- [No alcohol is served] and is cover-charge free!
The concerts do have tickets and range from Rock, ska, alternative, rap, contemporary, r & b, etc... and are both local artists and national acts.

A nice place to spend an evening, with an interesting crowd that suffers from poor layout and an unhelpful staff. I tried to get a drink several times throughout the evening and was on several occasions ignored and at others unsympathetically told I was at the wrong bar (there are 2 seperate counters) to get the beer I wanted. Getting to the bar with the good beer was difficult as the crowd was packed in front of the stage blocking access. Still, I had a good time and met some cool people. I would recommend this place, but you should get as many drinks as you can before the music starts to avoid needing to go back to the bar.

Bands such as Underoath, Thrice, John Mayer, Hawthorne Heights, and many others have stormed the Quest. It is the haven for mainstream alternative acts.
