Could be better 8/17/2005

Cheapo is a huge music store with tons of cds, albums, etc. However, you have to wade through a ton of chaff to get to anything good. Their collections by individual artist are not comprehensive, and their dance music selections for anything a half-way decent (or better) dj would want to spin, are decidedly weak. Want to sell your music here? Be prepared to get ripped off. You'd get a lot more for your music on Amazon or Half.com. more

Great place to find rare albums 8/17/2005

Cheapo Records is a place I go often when I am trying to find something that is less known as the current Top 40. Where Target, Best Buy and Barnes and Noble fall short, Cheapo picks up and embraces. If Enya had a Christmas Album, Cheapo would have it. And it's not just CDs, they have movies and vinal as well, new and used. I can always find several items that I would buy right then and there. The staff are helpful and have only been friendly to me. more

Best Place Old CD Hunting 8/5/2005

Whenever I think of looking or shopping for old CDs, the Cheapo Records store is the place that is number one on the list. Just from awesome selection alone, this store is a must see. This store has been around for along time and their customer service has really paid off because they are still here and the selection just keeps getting better and better. We are not just talking latest rock or rap. Cheapo Records goes deep in jazz, classical and many other genres as well. Great place to find that old artist or song. You find your self reminiscing about other songs you weren't even thinking about. more

Huge selection 8/3/2005

This place has more CD's than anywhere i think. A lot of old and rare stuff that is hard to find. They are pretty good at buying CD's as long as it isn't crap that everyone else already sold. This is definitly the place to go if you don't listen to Top 40 music. They have tons of Jazz, Blues and World music. The prices are great too. more

Great new and used CDs! 7/29/2005

I love going to Cheapo...it always feels like Christmas all over again! There are so many CDs to choose from and just looking through them all is a task in itself. You can always seem to find what you are looking for no matter how old the music or how "off the wall" it may be. Strapped for cash, bring your old CDs down to sell! more
