My friends and I had the best experience ever at a restaurant over the weekend. We were looking for good sushi, but we found not only that but servers that sincerely cared about us having a good time. Our server was very attentive and knowledgable and we never had to wait or wonder when our drinks or food would arrive. It was just a enjoyable experience all around and I would recommend it to friends visiting the area.
Pros: service, food, atmosphere
Cons: busy

I love going here, they have the best Chili Rellenos in town!!! The nice crispy ones, not the soggy tasteless ones you find in a lot of places. I love their salsa and chips that everyone gets to start the meals!!! And they also make a mean Strawberry Daqueri

I am not one to usually spend time writing a review, but after my last visit, I feel compelled to tell the world. In these tough times a lot of restaurants are changing their menus, offerring value and trying to keep people coming in the door. I went to Sullivan's with some girlfriends for drinks and dinner and we had great food, service and most importantly, HOSPITALITY. With the world of discounts and deals, the servers at most restaurants are watching their tips dwindle and it conveys in the service. Sullivan's really gets the most important thing in the restaurant, ME. We enjoyed some great steak and seafood on their "Summer menu" , but we were treated by the staff and management that we were spending $1,000 per person.
Thank you for caring about the most important thing in any business, the Guest!
Look forward to my next visit!!
Pros: Hospitality
Cons: None

I love this place. I started coming here in the 80's when there were only a few tables. It was down the street from where it is located now. The food has only gotten better over the years. I guess when you go to a place you get the kind of service you deserve. I have had nothing but great service here. I can't wait to fly home in July and the first place I eat will be Benny's. As soon as I get off the plane.
All my friends from Denver will join me I'm sure.
Pros: Best Mexican Food in Denver
Cons: Non

I have been to Aix multiple times in the past few months. I recently moved to Uptown and wanted to find a place where I was comfortable and felt like a valued guest when there. Aix is it. Their menu has changed recently and has gone back to "Modern French Cuisine"; this I couldn't be happier with. The Marrow Encrusted Filet Mignon falls apart with a butter knife; it's one of the best steaks I've ever tried, and I'm not even a huge red meat fan. The House Salad is by far the best in Denver; mixed greens, warm pears, melted brie and the BEST dressing I've ever had, a maple vinaigrette. I finished my meal with their Creme Brulee, a Cherry Creme Brulee, again, the best I've ever had.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is what topped it off for me; it's small and quaint, yet surprisingly I didn't feel crowded. My server was excellent, was able to pair a wine with my meal for me, suggested everything I had ordered as her favorite and was extremely well educated of their menu. Love, love, loved it! Aix, thank you, and I will be back!

We come in here quite a bit and over the past few years its seemed that Sushi Hai has just been flying under the radar and not taking much seriously. The food has been fine, generally consistent but nothing to write home about and nothing really exciting on the menu. The service has been consistent as well, consistently bad that is. Last night we were seated in the lower dining area, this is when we almost called it quits. They had just opened for the night and we were one of about 7 tables sat in the entire place. It took our server almost 20 minutes to come and take our drink order because apparently folding napkins is more important to her than making money. Since we really wanted sushi we walked upstairs and sat at the sushi bar, this is when the evening really turned around. The sushi chef was extremely helpful and refreshingly attentive always checking to see how our sake levels were and if we needed more of anything. Our meal went flawlessly once at the bar, our chef who was the college aged guy with tattoos made sure that everything came out with perfect timing. My date ate an entree from the kitchen and I ate sushi. We got our food at the exact same time and everything was great. It seems that Sushi Hai might be getting a second wind. Things are really turning around, cool different and innovative new items at the sushi bar and quality of fish that cant be found anywhere else in Denver. Although we didn’t order any of the specials they were offering that night, they looked really great. We’re pulling for these guys and as far as were concerned we will be back. If I can offer one word of advise, sit at the sushi bar if you want a good experience. They’ve obviously done a good job finding great chefs, so if you can phase out the generally crappy wait staff by sitting here it will be a good experience.
Pros: Great Food
Cons: so-so service

Wow!!! There is not a single thing I would change about this restaurant. That is rare for me to say. Usually there is something that missed. This restaurant is PERFECT!! Let's start as we get there. Complimentary valet parking...as we were trying to find a spot, we saw this and were excited. Little things, you know. We get in and we were missing one of our party (who didn't make it) and without missing a beat, we got sat at an appropriately sized table. This was just last night.
Now for the server, Andrew: he is getting his own paragraph. Anyone who wants to be a professional waiter, should sit at one of his tables and just observe. It was all about the little things, helping with wine selection, meal choices, everything. He understood the little nuances. When I questioned the bottle of wine, he even brought me a glass of something else to see if I liked it more. It turned out, the bottle was very young and just needed to open up. So, basically, the best waiter in town.
As for the food: Here is what was ordered: roasted tuna appetizer (absolutely phenominal-although Randolph's wraps are more to my tastes), the gnocchi with crab (absolutely amazing), NY Strip Steak (amazing by all accounts), Halibut (simply perfect) and my meal the seafood plate. This was the best meal, I have ever had in Denver. I cook a lot, and I eat out a lot. This was the BEST meal I have had in Denver.
So, the long and short of it, phenomenal.
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing

We LOVE this place. It is perfect for a easy going date night or going out with friends. Friday and Saturday nights get busy so arrive early and parking can be a mess, but the food, beer, and prices are worth the wait and the parking frustration.
Pros: Food, prices, and local attractions
Cons: Parking and crowded during peak hours
