I love this place a lot. I go at least once a week. It's like a home cooked meal. I love the lad na here. It's really good. I think that it is an amazing place to go and I love going there. It does get busy but it is definitely worth it.

I'm a bit shocked by the negative review posted in 2006, because my family and I have been going to Gemini since the times immemorial (when it was still Sawaddee's) and we have never waited more than ten minutes for the food (in fact, we prefer to eat there when we are particularly hungry because of their fast service). The decor is simple and tasteful, the seating in booths very comfy and they never blast Muzak or have uncomfortable levels of noise. The place is very popular for both lunch and dinner. The service is graceful and unobtrusive and they have a great vegetarian selection (no fish sauce or other animal ingredients). The portions are definitely big enough for me -- I usually split their lunch into two meals and their dinner into three. My favorites are Panang Curry with tofu and the Tom Ka soup with tofu. Somehow the restaurant didn't make it into the "romantic" category, but I suspect it is because it's not a cheesy Italian place with candles. I find it to be very private and cozy without being cloying. I like it a lot more than The Siamese Plate. It's my favorite Asian restaurant in town.
Pros: flavorful food, fast service, attractive decor, quiet ambience for talking, great veg choices
Cons: located in an ugly shopping center next to King Soopers (not their fault ;-))

Huge portions, usually 2-3 meal's worth. Great for take-out after a hard day of work. The beef panang is the best and they use a lot of veggies. Ask for extra sauce for your rice.
Pros: Fast, Delicious, Good parking

I really enjoy eating here. There are a lot of Asian food options (Thai, Japanese, etc.) and everything is really affordable. You can sit there or take it to go.

Sumidas is tucked away on Folsom, away from the downtown shi-shi and well worth the detour! Their new space on the upper floor is very comfortable and well appointed. Their sushi has been fresh with a broad variety of Nigiri sushi - with specialty types on occasion. Both lunch and dinner menus include a variety of cuisines to please your non-sushi eating friends. And the mango sweet rice dessert is awesome!
Pros: great sushi & tempora, quiet
Cons: tables a bit close together - sometimes a communal feeling which is not necessarily a minus.

We've been eating at this Noodles ever since it opened. We like the food, it's cheap, and the menu is flexible enough to offer lots of choices for all food preferences. The atmosphere is nicer than the other two Noodles in Boulder, and we used to eat here often. The problem: the more popular it got, the more busy parents started bringing their kids here. Weekday dinners often feature a full menu of screaming kids, with food and napkins strewn all over the floor - not a place to sit and relax over dinner. It's not the restaurant's fault, but we wish that parents would be a little more considerate when they decide to eat out.
Pros: cheap, lots of veggie choice
Cons: noisy
