Nasty TERD of a wing joint. 6/27/2009

Today was a very busy day due to the crowds from the car show, so I will let the bad service slide and I will even forgive the fact that my wings were just warm enough to still eat. We waited about 40 min to eat. Again it was very busy, but jeezus it’s wings. Not a very complicated dish, but due to the large crowds I will forgive all of the bad service. (I think we got served by the dish boy.) I will not however, forgive the fact that these wings are a pathetic, wimpy insult to true wings and true wing restaurants back east. There are a few basic components in a meal of wings. I shall outline them below: *The chicken- Their meat was DRY. That is not forgivable. The skin was somewhat crisp, so they kept their oil hot even though they were quite busy. *The sauce- The sauce was cr*p. I make a much better sauce at home with Franks and some butter. The 3 alarm was just oil and black pepper and maybe a splash of Tabasco. I do not like really hot wings but come on, 3 out of 6 should at least taste like some kind of a pepper (other than black) was used. The Honey Mustard was one of the sickest tasting things I have eaten in a long time. It was really horrible. My wife could not even eat them because it made her feel sick. *The celery- Hey!! They nailed the celery! Good job! *The dressing- I prefer ranch on my wings and their ranch fine. *The fries- The plain fries tasted pretty normal, but we got a basket full of french fry shrapnel; little butts and t*rds left over from all of the real fries. *The beer- When you are eating wings (or any bar food) you want your beer to be really cold. Like 33-34 degrees. Their beer was not cold enough. Period. *The napkin- They had nice big paper towel sized napkins on the table. Well done. *The price- $10. For 10 wings is comparable to being butt-raped by a gorilla. SHAME ON YOU FOR CHARGING A DOLLAR FOR A LITTLE TERD OF A WING!!! Overall a big disappointment. Pros: Nice space. Cons: Nasty food at a high price. more

THE place to go for wings 5/25/2008

We've been going to Wing Dome for years and it is THE place to go for chicken wings. The waffle fries w/ blue cheese and hot sauce are a must, too. One of the servers, Tammy, is our favorite. That woman just couldn't be sweeter or nicer--- thank you! We even took our parents here when they were visiting for their ANNIVERSARY! I know it's not the classiest joint but they loved it! Pros: great wings, good service, parking in neighborhood Cons: sometimes over run with drunk college kids but it's a wing place more

Great Wings 5/11/2008

I've been to Wing Dome several times over the years. They have a great variety of wing flavors. They're basic wing flavors are a heat level of 1 through 7, with 7 being flaming hot. What's nice is that they sell their 7 level by the piece. I like some heat but do not have an asbestos mouth. I usually will get 3 stars and when I have a bit of a cold, I'll get a 4 star level to help clear the sinuses a little and cut through the cold, to taste the food. I did have them add a piece of level 7 once. Driving back to West Seattle, I could smell the habanero laced single wing over the 10 pieces of level 4 the whole trip. And it IS hot. I waiting until I was done with the others before trying and could only take a couple bites.\r They have a nice blue cheese dressing, which goes well for the wings to dip as well as for their dome salad, which is pretty good.\r Parking can be challenging here, but definitely great stuff. They have a place in Kirkland and in Kent.\r Pros: Great flavors Cons: Parking more

Best Wings Ever! 7/21/2006

These are some of the tastiest wings on the planet. The environment of the restaurant is very relaxed, casual and easy going. I wouldnt take 1st date here but I'll go have beers with my buddies at this place every night. Because their menu is much more diverse than you would imagine, you actually could eat here every night and not get sick of the menu. They have a few problems with consistency but who cares, this place rocks! Pros: Great Food, Cold Beer. Cons: Consistency more
