We used to live in Seattle and always volunteered to pick up friends at Sea-Tac so as to have an excuse to visit Wallys's for lunch or dinner. Now that we moved away, whenever we come back for a visit, we plan our trip so as to have to stop for lunch or dinner on the way to our favorite Seafood Place in the Northwest.\r

Chowder, bucket of clams, Salmon and Halibut, even the combo platter are all favorites with our family. We always pick up an extra quart of chowder and bring it as a gift our our freinds in Seattle that we are visiting. It doesn't matter what is on the menu for that night at our destination, Wally's chowder always has a special place of honor with our family.\r

Get there early, and say hello to the staff; they are all very friendly, and have a sixth sense as to when to come by and check your drinks for refills. A great place to bring kids, but large groups might have a hard time getting seated. The bathroom artwork is also a great refresher from mono-chrome wallpaper.
