I had read previous reviews of this place and thought my family and I better check it out. First time we went we had the beer battered fish and chips (fresh fish) and that alone was fantastic. My husband and I had never had clam chowder before so we were hesitant to order, but the waitress kindly brought us a sample to try. It was outstanding! We both wished we had ordered that instead, but it gave us a reason to come back. Instead of the fancy Sunday brunch I had reserved for Easter Sunday, we went back to Wally's for chowder. My 4 year old son even ate his all gone. \r

The atmosphere is friendly and casual. It's usually a full house, but never a wait to be seated. A cup of new england clam chowder along with the garlic cheese bread will fill everyone up! Delicious!
Pros: Food
Cons: some tables are less desireable, near the entrance or register. try to get a window table.
