My car was hit in the rear driver door and quarter panel last spring. I brought it to the recommended Auto Repair Express Service center, Virginia Collision Center (VCC) in Richmond. It took almost four weeks to repair after being estimated only two weeks. After receiving it back my headlights, taillights, rear defrost, and all rear driver-side door functions didn't work. Additionally, there were tiny holes in all over the rear door interior panel and upholstery from a cutting torch (or welding?) and a rear seat belt was jammed. You would think VCC would have quality checked the car before sending it out!! I brought the car back with a laundry list of items to be fixed. I received it back and the rear door still didn't open/work. Had to send it back a third time and they told me the door didn't work due to a preexisting condition with the car. Funny (not really), because the door that didn't work was the one they replaced from accident damage. Each one of the send-backs took between one and two weeks for the ""repair"". Ended up very frustrated and brought car to another auto shop that was able to diagnose the issue (bad window motor and handle mechanism) and fix it in a few days. Moral of story-- never go to VCC.
