Best

I was there during the weekend and had a really great time. The new Hard Rock is in the center of all the good times for Bostonians - near Faneuil Hall. The food is excellent and ...

Worst

Server was adorably cute student. When asked for an old-fashioned, he said ""oh,well, we have don't have ginger ale but we have coke."" That pretty much explained the experience.....

never ever! 10/22/2010

staff was bad, food was cold. i like hard rock, but not this one!! don't go! a real dissapointment!!! more

Not coming back! 4/10/2009

I took some folks from out of town there bc my 13 year old cousin was ""dying"" to go to the so famous Hard Rock Cafe. What a dissapointement! The young wait staff was very rude, they made us wait for ""an available"" table for 40 minutes because we didn't have reservation.. until there ok... but the restaurant was almost empty!!! After 40 minutes of wait we seat on one of the ""unavailable tables"". We ate and left.. restaurant still empty! If it was not a request of my cousing to please stay... I had left there right away! DONT GO! Pros: Hall of fame Cons: Rude wait staff and food! more

WORST hard rock i've ever been to. 4/28/2008

i realize this is the hard rock cafe and not some michelin 3 star restaurant - still, the other hard rocks i have been to around the world have consistently been good. here, the service was sloppy - the place looks like it's staffed by 15 year olds who have no idea how to bus or wait on tables. the food was very disappointing - we had the nachos which are usually really good, but these were a total mess. the burger was dry. and the drinks were plain weak. there are plenty of chain restaurants in the faneuil hall area, as well as historic pubs; i would NOT recommend going to the hard rock in boston. Pros: lots of seating Cons: food, serivce more

just average 4/23/2008

i went to the hard rock for dinner and thought it was just ok. the waiter was very nice but the service was slow for the amount of people dining. my friend has a hamburger that she said was amazing and my chicken sandwich was good. i expected the hard rock to be impressive but the music was just too loud and the service too slow to really enjoy myself. Pros: friendly waiter Cons: too loud more

NEVER go to a show here!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3/14/2008

I went to a reggae show last night (Thursday) that was said to start at 9pm (doors at 8) per the Hard Rock website. My friends and I showed up at 9:30pm thinking we would walk in and the opening band would be playing. We walked into a poorly set up small room that was playing the loud rock music that the restaurant was playing (NOT the atmosphere we were expecting - COMPLETE BUZZKILL). This played until a little after 10pm when a horrific band came on (again BUZZKILL)... This band was so bad that my friends and I HAD to leave so we left and ate something while we waited for the real entertainment in which we paid for. Then at 11pm we went back to the room and the band was finally on - playing without the lead (Gregory Isaacs)! But at least it was the type of music we came for (1 1/2 hours later!!!). The entertainer, Gregory Isaacs, finally came on at 11:30pm - but the room was set up soooo horribly we couldn't even see him. Not to mention that the ceiling lights were way too bright and I felt like I was under a spot light. All in all this was the WORST concert ever -we ended up leaving at midnight - this was all thanks to the crappy vibe at the Hard Rock venue - the entertainer was amazing and would have been better suited for a real concert venue or the Paradise! I will NEVER EVER see another show here... EVER!\r more

New Hard Rock is great 1/25/2008

I was there during the weekend and had a really great time. The new Hard Rock is in the center of all the good times for Bostonians - near Faneuil Hall. The food is excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had about 30 people at the party and not an easy crowd to please but Hard Rock crew more than met our expectations. For good food and fun atmosphere - this is the place to go! Pros: Great food, friendly staff. more

Tasty food and cool atmosphere, but prices are high 7/24/2007

I had lunch here on a weekday. The veggie burger was the best veggie burger I've ever had, but also one of the more expensive ones at $11. I had some of a friend's fries and they were good too. The service was quick and the people friendly. My only complaint is that the prices are high (though I guess it's a trade-off for the Hard Rock 'atmosphere'). more

Great for a night out with a group! 10/29/2006

I have gone here twice on my birthday and had a great time! The atmosphere is fun, but a little noisey on a weekend night. I have never had to wait when I make a reservation. The food is good and you get pretty big portions. The wait staff is very nice, personable and attentive. Be prepared to stand on a chair in front of everyone and have them sing to you if its your bday!!! Pros: Food, atmosphere, value Cons: Little noisey on the weekend more

Well...ummm 11/13/2002

Server was adorably cute student. When asked for an old-fashioned, he said ""oh,well, we have don't have ginger ale but we have coke."" That pretty much explained the experience...I really wanted the old-fashioned so, I got Jack Daniels in a martini glass with an orange twist. Interesting! Food so-so, music LOUD, wait staff energetic, trying hard and very nice, if forgetful and slow...Maybe it was just Halloween. Hate to pan the place cuz the people were so nice. Pros: staff Cons: noise, parking, menu more
