For some silly reason, I had just about every excuse in the book, for not going to the Hair Clinic, and I'm kicking myself for it. I finally went for the first time last week, for a shampoo and style. I was set up with Cheryl. I love the fact that the first thing she did, was talk to me about my hair, what I wanted, and what my future goals are with my hair. I was very satisfied with my style, and Cheryl gave me suggestions to get my hair and scalp healthier. I'm excited to go back tomorrow!\r \r Everyone in the salon is very friendly, everyone was very professional, and I felt comfortable. I think I found my new salon home! more

I moved here to Austin from Atlanta four years ago. Since then I have been struggling to find a stylist that not only cares for hair but can also STYLE hair. I hate to walk around looking like everyone else. I made an appoitment with The Hair Clinic praying I found a place I can return to with confidence. Kera is my stylist and I am thrilled. 100% happy with the results. Finally, a salon that can deliver. My stylist didn't double book(I hate that) I wasnt in there all day/evening. She didn't have me wait forever and a day. Kera listened and understood my needs and wants. I will return. Thank you Kera!!!! more

After doing a web search for salons that focus on African-American hair, I located The Hair Clinic and having read all of the rave reviews about them I had to go check it out. I had pretty high expectations on my way to my appointment and I am happy to say that I was not disappointed. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Tasha, my stylist; Super friendly. Actually, everyone in the salon seemed really friendly.\r \r Tasha was easy to talk to, knew what she was doing, offered up really great advice and gave tips on how to help grow my hair.... Truly wonderful.\r I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will definitely return. \r Fabulous salon!!!\r Almost forgot to mention, I was literally in and out in 30 mins. Seriously, that has Never happened. Ever. Awesome! more

Today I received fantastic service from stylist Kera. She was professional and very sweet, most importantly her skills are on point! My hair looks GREAT! I traveled all the way from San Antonio just to get a full sew in and it was well worth it. I will be back to see her. more

I have lived in Austin for about 9 years and have been to a couple of salons but none compare to The Hair Clinic! I had my first full sew in done by Anna. She was professional and did exactly what i wanted not her own version of the photo I brought in. My hair looks natural and beautiful. I had my fist visit about 4 months ago and have been back every two weeks since then. I highly recommend Anna for all your hair needs!!! more

I was just at the Hair Clinic for a consultation with Jennifer to transition from relaxed to natural hair. She listened to my questions, made me feel comfortable and lifted my anxieties. This was my first sew in ever!!! I absolutely love it!!! Shari was my stylist and she is very knowledgeable and sweet!! She relaxed my edges, washed, conditioned and flat ironed the rest. My hair was looking beautiful and longer than it had in years!!! Next she did the sew in which I had expected to be painful since I had never had a sew in before. Painless and very very beautiful!! I found the Hair Clinic in an online search when looking for a stylist. I called and the person answering the phone was very professional, she listned to what I had to say regarding what I was looking for, and paired me with Latashia. The salon atmosphere was wonderful! It was very relaxing with a contemporary feel. My stylist, LaTashia was as sweet as they come. She did a wonderful job and everyone thought my hair looked great! I will be returning and definetely give this salon 5 stars. more

I made an appointment to get my daughter's hair braided and my hair washed and flat ironed. Tasha was my stylist and though she was very nice and professional, she did not do a good job. My daughter's hair was left unfinished because she didn't have time to put the beads on her hair and the braids were frizzy and uneven. My hair looked like it hadn't even been done! She only shampooed my hair once and very lightly so I still had dandruff. Then she didn't get the roots of my hair when she flat ironed it. I felt like she was rushing to get to the next client because someone double booked. I hate to spend so much money to come out looking worse than when I came in. I will not be going back! more

I had an appointment with Ana. I got a relaxer and a deep conditioner. Everytihng came out very well. The only thing I would say is that I wish my hair wasn't so heavy when I left the shop. Personally I like my hair to be very lightweight. Other than that I loved it there. more

I was referred to hair stylist, ""Kera"", by a close friend of mine. I recently had my appointment and I'm very impressed with the salons upscale, professional, clean, and quiet environment. ""Kera"" is patient, she paid close attention to my hair needs, she is very knowledgeable about natural hair and the products to use. ""Kera"" was honest about my hair health and gave me great advice on how to get my hair back to it's healthiest condition. Thanks to ""Kera"" for making my hair look and feeling pretty again!! I went to the Hair Clinic on 09/10/11. I was very pleased with the service I received. My stylist was Anna. I went for a full sew-in, relaxer, and also had my ends clipped. Anna was so pleasant and professional. She is also very efficient. She had me in an out in no time. It was the best sew-in I ever got. It looked so natural. I will be going back for a shampoo and style. Their prices are reasonable. I felt it was money well spent. The salon was very clean and there was a nice atmosphere. If you are looking for a great place to get your hair done, come to the Hair Clinic!!! more

The Hair Clinic is Chic! Before moving to Central TX, I was very concerned about finding a salon that was not only professional, but knowledgeable. I must say that the stylist are on top of their game! The keep the latest products available, the salon is clean, and they make sure that you are comfortable. My daughter's college graduation was in May and Annie made sure I didnt have to worry about mhy hair during my entire vacation. My hair looked gorgeous!!!! The style she gave me not only lasted the week I was In Charlotte but even after I returned back to TX. I would refer anyone to the Hair Clinic. I am very satisfied! more

I am a student at UT and I wore a sew last year. Let's just say it left my hair looking like straw. I decided to find a salon this year and get my hair back healthy. My first visit to The Hair Clinic was very nice! Rachel relaxed my hair and style within an hour and I made it to my next class. The salon was peaceful and it's very clean and ambient. I cannot wait to head back over for my next appointment, because my hair looks GREAT! more

I find it really hard to find the Salon + people who I can be comfortable with whenever I go for my hair do. But not this time.... The Hair Clinic-Salon & Beauty Supply Store is the best...and what makes it the best, is Ana. She's very Professional, positive attitude and she has a great customer care. My hair was in danger when I first went to Ana but she did a great job and she made me feel like I can still keep my hair and not shaving it all off. I just moved to Austin and looked hard for a professional salon. I like the location of the salon. There is a free parking garage that offers a great shield from the Texas heat. The staff is pleasant and professional. The salon is always clean and the decor is trendy and upscale. I have had two visits with Ana. She doesn't waste time getting to your hair. She doesn't triple book her customers. She has a positive attitude. more

I must say Rachel is awesome with the malaysian extensions. I just got my second installment done. The first one lasted me 3months. My scalp was not flaky and itchy. I had no shedding like when I get a sew in. And she removed the whole head in less then 15 minutes. I will only get malaysians for now on. I can not express how pleased I am with my hair, especially with the flexibility of my styles, my tracks are so flat because there is no Braids. Malaysians are the bomb. more

I had been completely frustrated with my hair. Experiencing shedding and breakage. As a result I hadn't put any color or straightener in my hair for quite a while. The result was dingy dull and greying hair that was difficult to manage and I just wore a pony tail. All of the time. I went in for a consultation, the very next day after I called. Ana listened to my concerns and recommended Keratin treatment and color. She was able to schedule me right away for an appt., an early Saturday appt. Wahoo! All I can say is Wow! The style is awesome, I chopped it quite a bit. But she knew enough about me that I was nervous about the drastic change so she kept a good amount of length in the front. The color is fabulous! And the price was amazing. What I paid for color cut and keratin I've seen charged just for the Keratin treatment alone. (and that is with a groupon!) Looking at their other services they offer, the pricing seems very reasonable. I'm very happy with The Hair Clinic and already have my follow up appts scheduled. So excited to find a good stylist and would definitely recommend her and the salon to others. I actually have 2 friends calling for appts soon! Thank you Ana for restoring my confidence and making this 41 year old feel young again! more
