Tan Republic

I go to the salon in Vancouver, WA by my house in Salmon Creek. I have to say that the prices are high,but it is so worth it. The customer service is awesome, (Victoria is my fave!) and most of the staff there will hook you up with good deals to help try to make the pricing more affordable. There are many different options, they even have a ""Beauty Bed"" to help get rid of wrinkles!!! All I can say is that I am very happy to have found Tan Republic, because their beds can even make a white Irish girl like me look tan without burning me to a crisp. Go Tan Republic!!! more

Very customer friendly, and good rates. The hi tech beds are the bomb. I really like this place. Even thoough the pricing can be confusing.......many different options, beds, etc, the employee(s) take time to explain and help you choose what works best for you. more

This tanning Salon has the newest technology,best products and most amazing employees. The employees will give the best deal and edgucate you on how to recieve a beautiful golden tan.\r To top it off this salon is extremly clean and has a great atmosphere. more

I researched the tanning company's in the portland area, because I am newer to portland. I live near the southwater front and the one or two other companies in the area beds weren't what I was looking for or they're customer service wasn't great. I called Tan Republic and they actually answered my question's over the phone and it didn't feel like I was trying to buy a used car. When I came in one of the owener's Ryan was helping another customer and he addressed me as though I had been there a thousands times before. In my conversation with him, not only was I happy the atompshere, but I didn't feel like I was rushed. So far I have been 5 times and have a great base tan. Overall worth the money and time. I've been going there since November. I have the yearly platinum package and I love it. I get to tan as much as I want with really low priced upgrades. I'm not the richest person and can still afford my monthly fee. Really reasonable for the outcome you get. The staff is so sweet and makes me feel like I'm their bud. And not to mention the puppy is adorable. Super clean as well!! I go in the red bed, never know what its called but I love it. 12 mins of sunshine keeps me happy in this dreary rainy city! Coming from Palm Beach, this is definitely an upgrade. The staff is very friendly and the beds are very nice. I bought a platinum package of 40 Turbo tans, 10 upgrades, and 15 mystics right before finding out I needed chemo & radiation. I spoke to a Tan Rio VP who put my tans on hold until I was well since they would not refund the $600 paid 2 weeks prior. I tanned for the 1st time after a little over 2 years (YEY!!!!) & found that my package was depleted to only 17 tans. I called corporate to find out where the tans were and was advised the package doesn't show as purchased. However, in good faith she would ""do me a favor"" by extending the measly 15 left (I've tanned twice now) for another year. It shows there were many tans used in the last 2 years, yet still not enough used to deplete 23 Turbo's, showing 0 mystics and 0 upgrades. Additionally, there are several notes on my account of someone calling in & inquiring into my account balance, missing tans, lotion being purchased etc.\r I feel completely disregarded as a long term customer & after making large investments with Tan Republic. I'm very disappointed as after these tans are used, I will have to take my business elsewhere (consequently will also include several personal accounts as well as 3 corporate accounts when I share my experience of how I was disregarded). However, as a highlight to this review, I was offered a password protected account so nothing like this occurs in the future, yet 0 issue resolution for the past conundrum. As we tanners know, we make ""investments"" in quality tanning & this one is just simply down the drain. TIP: It would be beneficial for Executive Management to retain the prominent professionalism prior to the takeover of Tan Rio to Tan Republic. \r Pros: Great beds Cons: Communication more

Other than their standard lay-down, Tan Republic has some epic tanning beds. Take a look at the pictures - they remind me a night club. Their staff is very knowledgeable and eager to educate customers. They also accept walk-ins and usually have beds available without waiting. I have been tanning at tan republic for a couple years now and every time I come in, its always a pleasant and welcoming experience. Staff is fabulous and well educated on all beds. Always have an answer to any question you have. Upgrades are easy and fairly inexpensive. Bed selection is large, and staff makes it easy to find the right bed for you! Perfect for any occasion. Mystic tans are reasonably priced and not orange or streaky! Highly recommend this place!e specially the locations on Burnside and downtown Lakeoswego! Initially I went into TR because of a special they were running. After many conversation with the staff, I decided to try a higher grade bed - and it made all of the difference! No burning, considerably less harmful UVB rays... The beds are great, the staff is informative without being pushy, and the atmosphere is very classy. i've had a good experience here so far. friendly staff, great location with side parking, and there seem to always be a lot of good deals going around. and every now and then they'll upgrade you for a session just for kicks (or at least it's happened to me before). i recommend it.
