At Taekwondo America of Richmond we strive to provide family oriented and friendly approach to martial arts. Our classes are designed to offer you the best taekwondo training in a full and safe environment. From children as young as three who just need discipline and energy release to teens and adults looking for exercise or the chance to meet new people. Our programs offer something for everyone.
At Taekwondo America of Richmond, we teach traditional martial arts of taekwondo, a Korean martial art that has grown in popularity over the years and is even recognized as an Olympic Event. Taekowndo is literally translated as foot-hand-art. It is an open hand (no weapons) style that emphasizes powerful kicks and hand techniques. Students of taekowndo learn not only how to jump and kick, but how to overcome obstacles and become better people.
Our goal at Taekowndo America is to help you reach your full potential by being the best you can be. Whether you have always wanted to be a martial artist or just want to try something new, we have a program for you.
NO LONG TERM CONTRACT. We have an open schedule, you may come to as many classes a week as you choose with no additional charge. We do not set your schedule, you do!
All children's classes are thirty minutes during the evening. Junior classes are 45 minutes on Saturday.
