I really wanted to like Szechuan East, but I am afraid that I must agree with the many bad reviews. The food is mediocre tasting at best, but more often than not is just plain terrible. The prices are sky high and the portions are very small. The interior is dark and dreary. Get three times the food for a fraction of the price at several other local Asian joints. I was expecting a Chinese Chef Gordon but got three notches below a Chinese McDonald's.
