Fun! 11/17/2005

It was fun going here, especially after you've had enough of roller coasters. You can cool down in waterworld. A lot of the tickets now let you go for free to waterworld if you have a ticket for astroworld. I had fun going here as a kid. I don't particularly enjoy roller coasters but I enjoy the other games and slower rides. Great place for the kids and family. more

I am amused 8/21/2005

This amusement park has been my favorite ever since I was little. It contains many great rides and thrillers that kids and adults will be able to appreciate and enjoy. The first roller coaster with a loop that I ever went on was the Viper. Oh was that scary. Serial Thriller is one of my favorite rides now with all the helixes and loops. I will glady go again. The people who work there are kind to an extent. The food is ok, but expensive. more

You get to parks for one price. Not bad. The waterpark is pretty awesome. It's fun summer time to go with your family. The water isn't that dirty and the slides are just heart rushing fun. It's great to be in a waterpark with the texas heat. well recommended. more

Well worth the money 8/18/2005

I have been going to Astroword for about 25 years and my family and I still love it. One of the advantages now (unlike when I was younger) is you can get into both Astroword and Waterworld with the same ticket. You can also buy a season pass and visit both parks as often as you wish. If you plan to go more than a few times each summer the pass is well worth it. GO and have a blast. more

Good water park 8/12/2005

If you have a season pass and live close to the park, so you donot even have to drive to park. Metro Lightrail to it and enjoy its water park, cool you a little in this hooottt season in Houston. Good, recommanded! more

Boom Boom Boom Boom 8/11/2005

I can't help thinking of the commercial with the little dancing man. I love this place; there's so much to see and do. I'm a big fan of rollercoasters and there are plenty of rides to keep me satisfied. If you're not into rides such as Greezed Lightnin' or Texas Cyclone, there are always games to be played and prizes to be won. Plus, tickets come cheap. Just look on the back of specially marked Coca Cola cans or visit a local Kroger's for a discount. Thrilling rides and free admission to Waterworld... What's not to love? more

Nice and refreshing 8/6/2005

The Six Flags water park is a pretty sweet place to cool down and have some fun in the summer. They have a lot of slides and a lot of variety. Everyone can find a slide they enjoy there. The park is nice and clean and the staff and very attentive and friendly. Since its next to the amusement park it is very convenient to get to also. more

A Great Day Full Of Fun and Entertainment 8/5/2005

I have been to many amusement parks across America. Now, this place is no Disney World. Not by a long shot. But, for this part of the country, this place is great. In fact, I have a season pass I like it so much. Plus, I can use my season pass at other Six Flags locations across America. If you are looking for a day of fun and entertainment, Astroworld is definitely for you. Just make sure you bring coupons for cheaper admission. more

Fun, but limited 7/21/2005

Waterworld entrance is free with admission to Astroworld. However, the Waterworld section closes at 6 p.m., which is not that great. However, it does have some great rides and is a perfect spot for a family outing. The only things to watch out for are weather and the beverages and food are rather expensive. However, , this is a great place to go, ESPECIALLY with a family. Very family oriented, and you can have fun in the water! Only thing I didn't like was the lack of cleanliness at the tables and some of the disrespectful lifeguards, but that was all cleared up with a call and complaint to their supervisors. Great place to go, but if you encounter any trouble with employees, the only thing that will set them straight is threat of losing their job, so make sure to call their supervisor to report any problems, if any. Happy swimmings! more

Our day of fun, with a few bumps 6/26/2005

Our family, this weekend consisted of 5. We decided to go to Astroworld for the day. I have been many times, but it had been a long long time ago. For the most part our day was going well. Heck, we saved a lot of money getting ice water from the coke stands instead of soda. The one problem we encountered a lot that day was rude employees. I found that most rides were ran by a bunch of teenagers who seemed to pay attention to only themselves and their fellow co-workers. I several times called out to the employees to ask general questions and they just kept walking on by me. I know they heard me talking. Several of the ride lines, kids were allowed to cut us in line and the employees paid no mind. It was aggravating !!! We had a wonderful time, but like I said, with a few bumps. more

Six Flags Astroworld 6/16/2005

Six Flags Astroworld is a very fun place to go especially as a family. I remember going with my mom and brothers when I was little and how much we enjoyed it, it was a lot of fun. I went last summer and I plan on going again this summer. The one thing that I hate the most is the never ending lines. It just takes forever to get to ride one ride. more
