Sissy K's is a horrible waste of money 11/19/2006

This place was not fun and the bartenders were slow, dumb and ugly. Overcharged for everything. Crowd was okay, too many dudes though. There is so many better places right around there. I suggest not ever going in, the place is called Sissy K's anyway, whats up with that? more

very flashy 4/9/2006

Went here last night and wasn't too impressed. I was with a group and felt it was too dark or loud to enjoy anyone's company. Could hardly talk to anyone or hear anyone, for that matter. The wait was long to get in on a very cold night. It was VERY crowded and the DJ was totally strobe-happy, enough to send the most healthy person into an epileptic seizure. It was nice to experience once, but I don't think I'll ever be returning. more

Sissy K's is a two level bar with a more typical bar downstairs and a night club upstairs. The place is overrated but that does not make it bad. Downstairs is good to chill out in and upstairs if fun to drink and dance the night away. It is a younger bar though and not really recommended if you can no longer hang with the college age crowd. Cheap drafts make this the place many get drunk. more

Good Dive Bar 1/12/2006

Sissy K's is located in a prime location of Faneuil Hall within walking distance to many Boston tourist attractions. The décor here leaves much to be desired- unfinished floor boards and beer advertisement banners. This bar isn’t good for any type of formal or fancy night on the town, but is excellent for $1 drafts during happy hour. Leave your pretentiousness behind and binge drink with the masses! Sissy K’s is a blast and an institution at that. more
