Wonderful hotel! 7/23/2006

I was the bridesmaid in a wedding this past weekend. The night before the wedding, the bridesmaids and I stayed at the Sheraton hotel in Tacoma. I was so impressed with this hotel. We had a room on the 21st floor, so we had a lovely view directly facing the mountains. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the whole room was very well appointed. Service was a bit slow, as the hotel was extremely busy, but we always got what we needed. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! more

So I just finished my convention 4/16/2006

And once again, have HIGH marks for the Sheraton! They were a great staff again. Janette at the front desk was always pleasant and knew the interworkings of our group so well and it was much appreciated! Penny in reservations is phenomenal at what she does! HUGE thanks to her for her hard work. Lastly, Rebecca in the Sales and Catering area was a HUGE HUGE help to the success of our conference! WAY TO GO! more

Nice hotel 4/13/2006

This is a great hotel to stay at. The beds are too die for!! They are so comfy that every morning you dread getting out of them. The rooms are nice sized and very clean. They have a couple places to eat, the Broadway Grill and Altezzas on the top floor which has great views of the city and sometimes the mountain range. Walking distance to shopping and some great restaraunts. There is also a public transportation tram, the light rail, and it is free and will take you to some great places to shop and explore Tacoma. It is one block down from the hotel. The brand new convention center is right next door to the hotel so if you are going to a convention there and need a room book one here. more

The place to go for a conference! 3/24/2006

I plan a conference once a year for over 1000 high school students. This is my 3rd year at the Sheraton, and I'm hoping to make it our permanent home of the conference. Rebecca in the convention space area is a dream to work with. She recognizes our groups needs and coordinates well with her staff to ensure the success of our conference. Penny in reservations has been a lifesaver. She coordinates all our groups reservations and has to make sure schools stay on the same floor. Overall, the staff at the hotel is phenomenal and you wouldn't find a finer hotel in Tacoma for your conference! more
