Girls, and guys, shopping for a ring is hard...really hard. I was not looking forward to it. G and I headed out to shop one Saturday and we went to EE Robbins first. Let's talk about the store first...it is really pretty and not stuffy and fancy. Next, the service...they are really nice people, not phony and high pressure. Last, the selection...there are SO many rings and SO many diamonds. It is like heaven for a girl who needs a ring. We did our due diligence there and then went to a few other stores to compare. Well, NO COMPARISON!!!!!!!!!! EE Robbins had the best engagement rigns and the best prices. Yes I said prices! We had thought they were pricey but NO, NO, NO. Anyone who has heard that they are expensive, listen to me they are NOT. We went back and ordered my ring and picked out the very best diamond a girl could have and they set it into a basic little ring so I can wear it while I wait for my real ring to get made. WHoo hooooo! We even went home and did some online comparing and we could not find a better deal. Now it off to find a location and flowers and a dress and a DJ and a.................

This store is great. I went to Chirp & Co in the afternoon last week and was fairly impressed with their progress. I went to that store a couple months ago and the manager was pretty rude, but he hired a new guy and it made all the difference. The employee was a very nice guy and he was very helpful. He showed me what I was looking for and even gave my puppy a treat (I have an adorable little beagle that I brought with me.) Once we were finished, he carried my birdseed to my car. I always liked this store because it still has the small business feel to it. It is not highly corporate and cold, it still has the friendly feeling, as long as the owner is not around.

Don't miss this shop. It's incredible. Everything is made locally and the prices are great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this shop enough. They offer complimentary gift wrap and shipped my wine purchase for me. I bought the kids several books of Native American stories. If you want something from this part of the country you have to see this shop. Everything is made right here.

I have been buying toys at this store for more than 10 years, but since the new owners have purchased it, the store has improved dramatically. They are enthusiastic about toys and it shows. The store is packed with every kind of toy and I have never failed to find what I need there. From Playmobil to Brio, to puzzles, beautiful blocks from Germany, art supplies, dolls from Europe and wonderful books, this store has high quality chidren's toys of heirloom quality and timeless appeal. The owners are helpful and extremely knowledgeable and never fail to help me select the perfect gift. The best toy store by far I have ever visited.

This store is great. It has all kinds of devotional religious materials. We homeschool and we always find a little something to supplement with what we have already. Just walking in the store makes you feel great. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are average but they seem to have everything you are looking for and more.

The Tacoma Book Center has a huge selection of used books at very reasonable prices. You can easily spend hours in there browsing the wide variety of books. The Tacoma Book Center is very well organized and books are easy to find. Another bonus is that the staff is just friendly enough to not get on your nerves while shopping or browsing. Overall I would say this is a great used book shop and would recommend it to all book lovers.

They have really great cloths that everyone can enjoy that always look great and are pretty good priced. They have sizes that some stores doing always have, and in the coolest styles and colors.

Other Mothers clothing is a really good consignment store. If you are looking for a bargain on children's clothes and baby equipment this is the place to go. Or you can drop of your used baby/children's clothes and make some extra cash.
Their stuff is in excellent condition and sometimes they have some really great sales. I have found some amazing deals there.

It's hard to beat a store that only sells 'made in the Pacific Northwest' products. My wife and I like the great wine selection. The kids buy candy and "admit it Tacoma you're beautiful" stickers. There's serious merchandise like Mt. St. Helens Ash glass ornaments. Beautiful! We just bought a half dozen and they box and gift wrap everything. A really nice store.
