We stayed at the Hotel Murano over Easter weekend. It was so beautiful and the perfect place to meet our family. We were able to walk to the glass museum, and my mom and sister and I enjoyed pedicures in the spa. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the staff very professional. Possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We were sad to go home and will definitely stay again!
Pros: Beautiful, room service, spa, valet parking

And once again, have HIGH marks for the Sheraton! They were a great staff again. Janette at the front desk was always pleasant and knew the interworkings of our group so well and it was much appreciated! Penny in reservations is phenomenal at what she does! HUGE thanks to her for her hard work. Lastly, Rebecca in the Sales and Catering area was a HUGE HUGE help to the success of our conference! WAY TO GO!

This is an outstanding hotel. The staff members are friendly, extremely professional, and their helpfulness is above and beyond. Each of the rooms have a view of the water. The view of the water from this hotel is breathtaking and the room decor is well done. Their complimentary breakfast has a very wide selection of food items from bagels, fruit, waffles, cereals, and all the beverages that one needs. The waffles are outstanding. The meals can be eaten in the reception area or taken to the room .

I found this place litereally by accident. I was lost, and it actually was a dark and rainy night. I was on my way to somewhere else and took a wrong turn....and, like a fantasy movie, stumbled into the Past.
Chinaberry Hill is the most amazing, magical place, a true, 1889 Victorian mansion tucked into a forgotten corner near downtown Tacoma. It is surrounded by an enveloping garden, a high wall, and tall sheltering trees. Once you climb the steep staircase, you find yourself in another world.
The heavy red drapes in the parlor, the incredible floors, the sumptuous furnishings, the amazing lighting that manages to look period even though it's electrical. This gracious, incredible mansion is now a bed-and-breakfast, and you can stay there for about the same price as you could in a modern, characterless hotel.
At the very least, go and check this place out.... it is an incredible experience just to see it for a few moments.

My partner and I stayed here for the first two nights when he just got off the plane from Iraq on election day November 2004. Who won that election? WHO CARES!
We got the king size jacuzzi tub room.....need I say more? The tub is right in the room itself, so when you're done with fooling around on the bed, go fill up this HUGE tub for two and get in and have some more fun! YEEEE HAWWWWW! I'll always remember this room and that great first night back from Iraq :)----. We talk about going back there on our anniversaries.
Oh yeah, and the hotel was quiet, the room was off in a distant corner (so the neighbors couldn't hear us) and the staff was friendly and polite. Nice little amenities too, Bath and Body Works Cucumber and Basil toiletries. Made a great bubble bath for two! They are very nice to military and I think they get a lot of them staying there when they get back.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times. I am torn as to what rating to give them. I absolutely love the hotel, the continental breakfast is the best I've had at a hotel, but the customer service from a few of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. I didn't feel welcome by a few of the staff, who were downright rude. I would, however, stay at this hotel again, but I would ask for the manager next time I am treated rudely.

The room was filthy. There were stains on the chairs, floors, carpet and curtains. We didn't take off our shoes the whole time for fear of contracting something. The walls were so thin we could hear the guy next to us snoring like a lawn mower.
The next morning we started getting phone calls at 10am. Check out time is 11am. Next an employee came pounding at our door at 10:30 telling us it was time to leave. UNBELIEVABLE! When I went down to complain manager/owner? Said that did not happen. Another lady trying to get here extended stay money back (which they denied) said it had happened to her also. He turned his back on me and continued to deny the accusation. I tried to ask him a question and he raised his hand to dismiss me and told me to go. Another UNBELIEVABLE move. I've never been treated so bad as a customer in my life. I will NEVER go to this hotel again.
Pros: ????
Cons: many
