Shanna is a life saver! 3/5/2007

I am a student at UW in Seattle. My roommate and I attempted to highlight my long, dark brown hair. Oh, my gosh, what a mess! The highlight color was all wrong for me; it had a green hue to it and looked like it was striped. Fortunately, I had a family event in Austin to attend shortly after the ""hair"" fiasco, so my mom scheduled an appointment for me to see Shanna. Well, what a difference! Shanna completely colored my hair back to it's natural color. Then, because I still wanted some highlights, she highlighted my hair just enough to frame my face and the color was more of a golden hue. Long story-short, my hair looks great. Shanna did a terrific job. So, if you want someone who can right your wrongs and is totally hip, stop by and see Shanna at Catena's. Pros: Really cool setting; love the antiques. more

Simply the Best Hairstylist in Town 2/25/2007

I have been going to Shanna for 3 years. I like an edgy look but don't like going to an edgy salon. The atmosphere in the salon is serene and swank. I enjoy going to Shanna and getting the latest style as well as the good advice. more

Best Hairsylist in Town 2/25/2007

I am a 73 year old client of Shanna's and have been going to her for 15 years. She is the only hair dresser that has continually given me youthful, stylish haircuts and color that defy my age. I am often stopped by mature women and have been asked who styles my hair and it is my pleasure to refer them to her. Not only is she an expert stylist, she is also a fabulous therapist, although she is not licensed, her suggestions are far smarter than those i've been too!!!!!!!! more

Shanna has been doing my hair for 20 years. She can make you look and feel like a Queen. She is up on the lastest styles and is a master at color. I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else. more

Incredible cut and color by an icredible artist! 2/22/2007

I guess the best testiment to good service of any kind is whether or not you would go back for more. Well, after 12 years I have never even considered going to see any other stylist. Shanna has seen me through so many milestones in my life from my wedding (with an amazing ""up-doo"") to conquering my fear of color. Shanna has a special way of making you feel great about how you feel inside as well as outside. I really look forward to hair-day. I can truely say that I don't just have a killer stylist who alwasy strives for perfection (and is never late, I might add...), I also have a good friend. Pros: Wonderful atmosphere. Great location. Friendly appointment reminder. On-time service. more

Shanna has been doing my hair (color/highlights and cut) for several years now, and she has done a fantastic job of working with my budget while keeping my hair and customer satisfaction in my best interest. She also cut my 3 yr. old daughter's hair and was happy to do so, even though children are not her typical customers! more

Master at Hair Extensions! 2/15/2007

I have been a client of Shanna?s for the past three years. She is amazing with color and cuts. I can always expect to get just what I ask for when I go she Shanna. Shanna has now become a master at Great Lengths hair extensions. I am on my second set of extensions and I LOVE them. I feel 10 years younger with my new long hair and feel completely confident that no one would get that I have extensions. Shanna is not only talented but honest, trustworthy and really fun to be around. I wouldn?t have survived the 5 hours in the chair to get my extensions done had she not kept me entertained with her witty personality. Shanna is also reasonably priced considering the outstanding quality of her work. I highly recommend Shanna to anyone who needs a cut, color or is thinking about hair extensions. You will not be disappointed. more

Fabulous Stylist! 2/15/2007

I am so lucky to have found Shanna, my stylist. A friend of mine recommended her to me recently and now I am hooked! My hair takes a lot of time and patience (extensions) and Shanna creates an environment that will make you feel comfortable and energized even after several hours in a chair. She is not only my stylist, she has become my friend and confidant. I look forward to my hair appointments now, because I know when I leave I will not only look beautiful, I will feel that way as well. Shanna is my ?ego boost? and I wouldn?t trade her for the world. I've been a friend and customer of Shanna's for over 14 years. She's knowledgeable and is always trying to improve her skills in order to provide what her customer's want. If you're looking for a stylist who will be honest about what cut or color looks best for your hair type and face, she's your gal! Even though I come in with pictures of what I'd like, she'll let me know what my hair can and can not do, so that I'm not disappointed. Highly Recommend!!!! more

I have been going to Shanna for over 10 years now. I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else. My cuts are always the best and my color looks completely natural. Shanna is extremely professional and a barrel of fun! You never know what she's up to next. She stays current in the latest products and styles. We've been through a lot together over the years. I?ve been seeing Shanna for 12 years now and there simply isn?t anyone else I would ever go to. She is a consummate stylist and colorist. I have referred many people, both men and women, to her and not one has ever reported back even the mildest dissatisfaction.
